Bellatrix was a lovely girl. She had jet black hair to the waist and doe eyes; that were emerald green.

Bella was the daughter of Tom and Minerva James. Her mother was a professor, while her father used to be a doctor. He has been locked up in jail for fifteen years, just two years after she had been born.

Today was the day, the day he would be released. After fifteen years of not knowing her father, she was going to meet him.

Bella was wearing a tight black long sleeve shirt with a black plaid skirt to her ankles. Her boots clicked against the tiles as she walked along side her mother.

Minerva was wearing a green silk blouse, with black jeans. Her ballet flats made no sounds against the cold tiles.

As they neared the door that lead to the meeting place, Bella slowed down, her long powerful strides, turning into steps a child would take, until she wasn't moving at all.

Minerva reached for the handle, but stopped when she heard a strangled whisper come from behind her.

"Mama."
She looked at her daughter and saw that tears were pooling in her beautiful green eyes.

Minerva walked back to her daughter and gently placed her hands on either side of her cheeks.

"Yes sweetheart?"
"I'm scared." With that the tears silently slid over her high cheek bones.

Minerva wiped the tears away and hugged her daughter. "We'll only be a few minutes Trixxie, and then we'll leave. I promise." Bella nodded and straightened her back.

They walked up to the door, Minerva reached for the handle and opened it, holding it for Bella.

Bella walked in a few feet and stopped, there standing behind the table was the man who was so post to be her father.

He had handcuffs on and was wearing a white shirt and jeans.

Minerva stood beside her daughter. Nobody said anything for awhile, they just stared.

Finally the silence was broken by Tom. "Minerva, Bellatrix, I've missed you."

Minerva shook her head. "We've come to tell you, you're not welcome in our family anymore and that your stuff is in storage." She said.

Tom stood still, not blinking, not breathing. Finally he uttered three words. "I love you."

Again Minerva shook her head and opened the door, letting Bella walk out. She followed her daughter, but looked back. "I did love you once, but not anymore. Goodbye Tom." She said and let the door shut.

Minerva wrapped her arm around Bella's shoulders and hugged her to her side. "Let's go home."

Bella nodded and walked down the hall with her mother. "Home."

The only sound Tom could hear from the meeting room was the clicking of his only daughters' shoes hitting the tiles, as she and Minerva left his life forever.
