"Kayla, please listen to me!," Derek begged, one arm still around her. "I love you!"

I stopped and looked at him. "Obviously you loved me. You loved me enough to cheat on me with the school slut," I said sarcastically. I turned around and had barely gone two yards before he grabbed my hand. "Please, Kayla, I'm begging you. Give me another chance," he says. I look in his pitiful eyes.

But I feel no pity.

I yank my hand out of his grip and spat, "So you can hurt me again? You obviously don't care about me. And I don't care about you- anymore. So save your breath for someone who gives a damn."

And with that I left.

And I never looked back.
