Prologue

Cameron Williams looked at her reflection in her bedroom mirror. Tonight was her 18th birthday, well her and her twin brother Alex's birthday, and she wanted to look good. Her long curly brown hair flowed nicely and her hazel eyes popped thanks to the new makeup she got from her mom.

"Hey. Knock, knock" He brother yelled as he entered through her door. He only did this because her room was so huge in the Hampton mansion.

"You ready for tonight?" He asked.

"Duhh" She replied. "You know it!"

"Ok, well mom wants us downstairs in 15 minutes to welcome guests."

"K, I'll be down soon."

As her brother left her room she looked back on all of the memories that they had shared together in the last 18 years. They always had this huge birthday bash and everyone who was anyone was invited.

As she descended down the stairs she got a funny feeling in her stomach. Something wasn't right, but she couldn't decide what. The drinks and food were out; the guests were going to be arriving soon and all of the party decorations were in place. Yet she couldn't help but feel nervous. Maybe it was because of the fact that she had been having strange dreams lately about her and her brother and four other kids. For the past year now her parents had also been acting strange. Her mother was more protective and her father, who was rarely around and barely noticed her, was spending more time with her brother than usual.

When Cameron reached the bottom of the long staircase she was greeted by her mother and father.

"Darling," Her mother said, "You look beautiful in that dress."

"Thanks mom."

As she exchanged a glance with Alex the door bell rang; guests were arriving. The party was beginning and so was her worst nightmare.
