Living Contradictions

Life is made of contradictions,
Everyday living conflictions,

Things that kill the things they need,
People who poison the air they breathe.

Animals running towards their doom,
Children killing their mothers in the womb.

Animals who live underwater that breathe air,
Creatures known as 'naked', but still have hair.

But somehow we're still alive,
perhaps it's the contradictions that survive.
