Dance With Me

"No," she declined coldly.

He smiled, but annoyance could be detected.

"All eyes are on us right now, pretty thing. And nobody rejects 'The Prince' on a national function," he said; omitting sparkles with his smile.

"I'm sorry, 'Your Highness'. You can dance with some other pretty girls. It just happens that I don't know how to dance—"

Shin took her wrist and they stood so close that people thought that they were kissing. That alone, was enough to make girls around them screamed.

"Too bad then," he whispered. "This 'Prince' has chosen you as his dance partner."

He bowed, and offered his hand, "Can I have a dance with you?"

She sighed, "Fine! But don't blame me when I stepped my legs on yours."

And the two began to dance. The model held on tight to her boyfriend while her gaze fixed on the floor; trying hard not to trip. At times, she glared at the people around and saw them looking at the two in awe.

"You're doing fine. Just follow my steps…there. See?" he whispered.

"Shut up, hot stuff," she replied, trying her best to hide her blush.

"I know," he replied back. After looking at her for some time, "The black dress suits you."

"I know."

"Too bad I can't see you in your Barney 'suit'."

It irritated her a lot when he makes fun of her favorite color; purple. "I wonder what will the press write when they see me punch you now."

He chuckled, "Then you've just proved that Barney is not as weak as I thought."

"And this mighty 'Barney' will spread your pictures in the pink tuxedo."

The guy cleared his throat and continued to dance silently.

Maybe he should stop playing pranks on her about purple and Barney.
