Shandra's POV
BAM!BAM! Mike's behind Amanda and me, and he was shooting us, or at least trying to.
Amanda and I've been running away from this guy for four years already, and he's finally caught us.
Since we've been running for a few miles, my legs and lungs are burning up. The cramps aren't helping either.
With one last sprint, we reach the only place we can be safe, The Treehouse.
With expertise, Amanda and I swiftly climb up the tall tree.
We're not quick enough.
Mike tackles me, and I fall to the ground Amanda reaches for my arm, and she has a strong grip on it.
Too bad Mike's stronger than we thought, because with one jerking motion, he pulls us both down.
I land awkwardly on the ground, and pain is shooting up my body. Then, to make matters worse, Amanda lands on top of me. Blood is under me, and to my horror, it's my own blood.
My sight is getting blurred, and blackness is fringing around my vision.
I close my eyes for the last time.
Amanda's POV
Shandra gives out a curdling scream, and it vibrates through my ears.
She falls silent below me, and I check for a pulse.
None.
I don't have anymore time to do anything, because Mike and his cahoot is surrounding me.
They cackled at me and stared, like I was an insect under a telescope.
"We finally got her."
"This is what she gets for rejecting me! I was the most popular person at school! Nobody said no when I asked them out!"
So this was what it was all about? Because Shandra and I rejected these low lives? Ugh, they disgusted me.
"Okay, time for payback time!" Mike snickered.
He took out a few baseball bats.
"ATTAAAAAAAAACK!" He screamed.
They all clobbered me.
At first, all I heard were cracks. Cracks of my bones.
Then, I became numb.
All I felt was my thick, red blood. It was warm, and sticky, too.
Then, one of them hit my head.
I died.
