"Ouch!" Amanda, who was chopping up chicken liver for our spell, cut herself with the sharp edge of the knife.

"Here, let me get you a band-aid," I muttered a Latin spell, and poof! A band-aid appeared on my open palm.

"Thanks, Karen." She smiled bleakly and put the band-aid on. "Okay, that was the last ingredient, right? No more finding disgusting stuff like fish guts and stuff, because if I have to do one more thing, I will die."

"Hey, don't worry. We got all of our stuff to make JD fall in love with you." Amanda let out a sigh of relief.

"Good, 'cause I really need a date to prom, pronto!" I rolled my eyes and told her, "Okay, gather all the things here so I can do the spell."

Amanda hurried around and finally put all the things in the pot, where I filled it with water.

Then, I turned on the stove and started to stir up the ingredients.

When the water started to boil, I chanted in witch language,
"Jempa avu!
Krinko vinko!
Bakisty mi!
Haristic lee!
Amanda Whicher!
va JD Smith!
Uanda mill,
Pidesmid!"

There was a boom sound, like an explosion, and then all of the water evaporated. Insted of the original stuff in the pot, there was a gooey mix.

I scooped it up and put it in a Ziploc bag.

"Here, you need to put the slime in your's and JD's hair for at least 15 minutes," I instructed her.

"WHAT?! You never told me I had to do anything after the spell!" she shrieked.

I shrugged and said, "Well, now you know."

Amanda tossed the bag in the garbage can.

"Forget it. I'm never going to do that," she glared at me.

"That was a waste!" I yelled at her, but she ignored me and started reading a book.
