Prologue

There are many different versions to one story.

Take Cinderella for example.

In the Grimm version, she gets her heel cut off, so she doesn't exactly equal a happily ever after. If you got your heel cut off, but you still get the guy you wanted, would you consider that happy?

In the Disney version, she just slips on the shoe. No biggie.

But there's one other thing that both the versions have in common. And that thing that they have in common is that they don't tell you what happens to the step family.

Think about it. What if the stepmother just hires another scullery maid that they can torture, and the stepsisters marry rich men, and they live happily ever after too?

That's just not how it's supposed to end.

Another question to think about. What if the stepsisters aren't even all that bad? What if Cinderella's just overreacting? Have you ever thought about that?

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to see in one of the stepsister's point of view? Would it kill you to do just that?

The answer would, obviously, be no.

A/N: Hey, sorry for this part being super short! The rest will be a little longer, I hope...
