Shakespearian sonnet

By Christine Bell

I will love him for an eternity

He sits alone sometimes, forlorn and sad

He is far more precious than a kitty

And I never have cause to call him bad

I can't picture a day without him near

He is always there for me, day or night

With him I never have reason to fear

That my love will ever turn to a fight

His eyes are dark and twinkle with out end

And every time I seem him I must grin

When ever he seems broken I will mend

For I can't bear to see his health run thin

But he will never love me back

For in his stuffed chest, a heart he does lack
