Your tongue pokes out of your mouth, eyes focused on the project at hand. Hands fumbling, I slip it into your grasp, but I don't let go. We stand, connected, hands brushing unexpectedly as we tweak the piece of metal between us. You stand still, and so do I. You answer my questions, and I nod numbly back, unable to comprehend how we found this position. A shockwave passes through me, and I succumb to it. I take one step back, unable to take the pressure anymore. You hold the device, a smile meant for victory and not for me.
