White night, shine bright. Under
the canopy of everlight—holding
on to a masquerade of colors.
The feeling's danced, and blurred.
But I still remember: heart beating
quick—quicker. Lost in a general
wonder, hoping not to fall out
from under. Hoping to stay
atop, afloat-hoping for snow
in midsummer.

Trying hard to find a beat,
a sense of rhythm; trying too
much to make it tangible.
Just believing is enough,
but understanding's highly
coveted. Hold on, take a
deep breath. Hold your
heart in your chest—let go.
