Another day, new flowers may bloom.
Another day may come too soon.
Another day, I might be ready to face
That game they call life, to someday find my place.
And, soon enough I might start to see
The rest of the world, and what it wants with me.
I wonder if that day will ever come,
That I may grow up, get out, and have some fun.
Another day, I might rid myself of all of my worry.
Another day, I might face some luck: it might just hit me like a giant flurry.
I don't know where, I don't know how,
But it'll all work out, the pieces fitting somehow.
I have tried giving up, I have tried letting go,
But this barrier of mine refuses to take a blow.
Another day, I might be able to see
New flowers in bloom, the grass turning green.
Another day, I might be a flower myself
Who's bloomed and grown, showered in wealth.
Rich with purpose, rich with love,
I'll fly to find new land for life, to start anew, like Noah's dove.
Another day, new birds are born:
They grow and discover, their wings grow worn.
Another day, I may be free
To run, fly, and just be me.
But, right now, I am caught in fate;
Another day may come too late.
I long one day to sit and lean
Against a tree, watch the grass grow green.
Another day I may be ready to find
The rest of my soul, who fell back, was left behind.
Until then, I am trapped in a world behind my wall.
I can only dream, and wait, for those bricks to buckle and fall.
Poem #2! This is another one I wrote an awful long time ago. I wrote this based on my outlook on life. It's changed a bit since I wrote this, but it's generally the same.
So yeah.
Reviews? They're always greatly appreciated.
