Lost in Liminal Places
No human bearings for us here,
The subtle lightness of being, mesmerized
We gaze at stars, they disappear
Flickering at our souls so energized.
To immerse ourselves in wintry light,
We honour sunrise on vapory shores.
Dichotomies of day and night
They coalesce behind unbolted doors.
The eerie levity of dawn
Galvanises hearts like fireflies
Seeking each other, shyly drawn
To the weightless confessions at sunrise.
Like unwashed palettes, skies suffuse
In your eyes, as acrylic emotions
In surreal embrace infuse;
We're lost lovers in liminal oceans …
