Spenserian sonnet

Why can't you leave me be, you stupid thing?

Your cold embrace I dread but must prepare

For. It beckons me constantly, my king.

I wish you could just be quiet and fair.

I have a hunch that you don't even care.

But, o nemesis, I can't live without you,

I would rather fight with you than a bear.

My hate and vengeance is far past its due,

But I feel my brain is addled and in lieu

Of our fighting state, I will work on, see,

For my success rests on my victr'y o'er you.

Hard work and dedication will be the key

Of our continued partnership, Swimming,

And I can't wait to get on with winning
