PROLOGUE

I tried to leave the bar as soon as I could. I didn't know what that man wanted from me, but I could definitely tell it wasn't something good.

I had been helping a friend of mine at a bar when a man entered and sat in front of me.

He had a dangerous air, something about him was off. He was kind of attractive, with blond hair, brown eyes and a good physique, but at the moment he sat down, all my body started telling me to get the heck out of this place.

Instead of listening to my body –like I should have done- I convinced myself that it was just another man and that I had to finish helping my friend, who was the owner of the bar.

At first, all the man did was look at me with lust in his eyes, but that wasn't what ticked me off, after all, I had got stares like that in my whole teenage years.

What ticked me off was the way he was sat. I know it sounds weird, but he was sitting with his back arched, as if he was ready to stand up and attack somebody (in that case me) at any moment.

When I finally realised that that man had no good intentions, I told my friend I was leaving and went to the door, but he was standing in there, blocking my way.

Instead of telling him to move, I made my way to the back door, and fortunately, I was able to exit the bar.

I started walking to my house when I saw a shadow in the corner of my eye. Somehow I knew what I was going to find, but it still frightened me.

Of course, the creepy man was staring at me, so I started to walk at a quicker pace. When I was a hundred metres from him, he started following me.

Terrified, I started running, and when I found a side road I went to it and finally lost him.

Or that was what I thought.

I was walking at the end of the street when an enormous wolf appeared in front of me. I almost couldn't see it, because it was black and suddenly the night had become a lot darker. The only thing I could see from him were his white eyes, which were cold and threatening.

I tried to continue walking, but the wolf stopped me every time I tried.

When I tried for the tenth time, the wolf growled and suddenly it became a person; more specifically, the man in the bar.

I stopped breathing and I was so scared that I stood still. It wasn't the shock that left me standing there because I had seen a werewolf, but it was the thought of what that man could do to me. Obviously he had large amounts of strength, was fast, and could break me, in every way possible.

"Where do you think you are going, fragile human?" he asked and sent chills down my spine. His voice was rough and slurred, like he was constantly drunk. I couldn't answer him. I was absolutely terrified of that man and the situation I was in. He leaned in closer and took my hair in his hands and started looking at it like it was a piece of art. "You needn't be scared, I'm not going to hurt you if you cooperate with me" he said and looked at me in the eyes. I was sure that he could see my fear, and he was enjoying it.

"What do you want?" I whispered. I wasn't surprised when he heard me.

"I want you" he said and forced my lips into his
