"You look nice today, Shannon. Nice make up, Melissa. No, I can't model for your art project, sorry. Yes, here's the homework." I get swamped with people calling my name and asking me questions. I yawn. Being well known is tiring. I signal Alex to help me escape to the library, which he does promptly by yelling for everyone to "move their asses before he kicks them."

"Alex, you okay?" he looks concerned about something, and when Alex is upset I am too. I hate it when he's not happy.

I jump to my feet and give him a hug. "Whatever it is, I'm here, okay?" I mumble into his shirt. He laughs and I look up at him.

"No need to cry, I was just thinking!" I didn't notice I was crying until just then. "You're always emotional in the mornings." He wipes my cheeks. "Let's go."

I skip a few feet ahead of him; humming a song I don't remember hearing. I push my way through the library doors and run towards the table Anthony's at.

"Ready?" I ask him. "I have some worksheets we can use as review to see what you need help with and some packets to help you out. You'll have to come to every session," I suddenly start to act out what I'm saying, "ready to work, to serve your school and get better grades, so you can make that slam dunk at the play offs and get the crowd yelling and get scholarships, but you have to come and work and, and-" I was tired after attempting that fake slam dunk and laid on top of the table.

"Um, I play football, it's called a touchdown." Is all he says. I stand up, placing my hands on my hips, raising my eyebrows. "Who's supposed to be teaching here?" crickets. "Thought so." I turn to see Alex still next to me, and automatically feel relaxed.

"Come on, cut the chatter, I'm supposed to help you." I whisper to Alex, "Who knew footballers talked so much?"

"It's football player." Ops, I thought I whispered. "Who cares about football? Let's focus on the fundamentals of Physics!" Anthony looks at me like I'm crazy, which who knows, maybe I am.

Seething, I grab onto Alex and push him on my bed.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" he yells.

"Why would you let him flirt with me?" I answer calmly. On the inside, I'm murderously mad, my head replaying the day I just had. Throughout the whole session, Anthony was touching me under the table, trying to play footsies, feel me up, you name it. Worst part, Alex let it happen! To make things worse, I didn't push the kid who walked into me; tell off the girl who was stalking me, or poke at the dead squirrel on the side walk. Instead, I politely (Ewww) ignored his advances, apologized and helped the kid up, told the stalker she looked pretty and hope to see her around, and gave the rabid infested beast a funeral. Ugh!

"What kind of friend are you? You know what this means, right?" Alex looks up at me hopefully and I stop to think why that would be a good thing, well, besides the obvious.

"Well?" Everything clicks.

"You fucker!" I laugh. "You like when I punish you, don't you?' He breaks eye contact, blushing. "You like it when I thrust my hard cock into you and tell you to do dirty things." I crawl over his body, bringing our faces close. I look at him closely, only to see the same freckles and red hair I've known since forever. "Cute." I stand up and leave on the bed. The house was getting hot anyway.

I go to the park that's a couple blocks away. I usually never go because I get surrounded by kids calling me, "pretty," and who "want to play." However, today I'm lucky. The park is nearly empty, save for a few kids and their parents. I go towards the swings, select one, and sit. Slowly, I bring myself higher and higher off the ground. That was a mistake.

"OOOWWWW!" Oops, I kicked someone. I look down to see a kid about seven on the ground. I smirk at him and keep swinging.

"Hey, you're not even gonna say sorry?" a voice way older than seven sneers. I jump off the swing, making a perfect landing, and turn around to see the brat hiding behind a guy around…. 17 with light, chestnut hair and hazel eyes. He's five foot seven, muscular body, supposedly straight, a hockey player with a girlfriend. All this comes to me in five seconds flat. I'm good at reading people, or rather future sex partners. I can practically smell the sexual frustration radiating off him. He has all the symptoms, permanent frown, circles under the eyes and restlessness.

"Well?" his legs are spread out, his arms folded at his chest. Well what? I cock my head and look at him innocently.

He sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "You kicked this kid and didn't say sorry." At this I snort. I bet the kid had it coming. He glances sharply at me, only to see me looking innocent again. His look turns wary. "Look, I don't have time for this, just apologize and we'll be out your way." I decide to have some fun with him, since he's already pissed. I gesture towards my ear, pretending I'm deaf and start doing fake sign language.

"Oh," his eyes go wide. "Oh! I'm so sorry, or," he tries to copy my movements. I suppress the urge to laugh and look at him questionably. I shrug and walk away; leaving him the responsibility to explain what happened to the brat. I find a tree and sit under the shade. I swear its 100 degrees out.

"Adrian. Adrian!" I look up to see Alex running toward me with hockey player dude looking over. I smirk knowing this'll be good.

Alex comes up out of breath. "I'm. Sorry." He brings out his inhaler. "Don't" puff "Be." Puff "mad." I laugh at Alex.

"Why would I be mad that you like my sex?"

"What!" Alex and I turn to see hockey player dude fuming. "Bloody hell, you can talk? And hear?" I smirk and nod. "Then what the hell was that back there?" I shrug.

"I was bored, you seem like you could use some excitement in your life." At this he colors visibly. "Fuck, dude, does it really matter if I say sorry or not? The, brat's gonna forget in like, two minutes anyway."

"You don't know that-"

"Listen." I stand up and grab Alex's hand. "I don't give a rat's ass about whatever crap speech you're going to spew out. Save for someone who cares, and move." I sneer. This dude is pissing me off. I don't care and will never care. People need to stop expecting everyone to think what they have to say is important.

"Not until you apologize." He says through clenched teeth.

"Fine, I'm sorry you're not getting any, but I am, happy? Now, unless you want to join…" he blushes again and moves. "If you're ever interested, look for Adrian." I look at his body up and down, and damn, what a nice body it is. "I'll be sure to help you get off." I drag Alex away from the gaping jock and head for home.

"Adrian." I look at Alex, but keep moving. "I- you're- That was so sexy. I need you right now." I smirk and push him into the bushes next to us.

"Later." I say, and head home by myself.
