Let me be born away
On these tides of the sea
And I will not even dream of struggling
As they crash down mercilessly upon me

I would let my ship drift away
To other worlds, other lands
Just for a day
Where it goes does not matter much
For where is the sea
Matters most of all to me

Let the land have its laws
But keep the ocean in its perpetual chaos
Let the sea always be free
And may the ground never landlock me

For I am the sea
And the sea is forever in me
