A/N: Another random thing that wondered around my head for three days.
And sadly, another story popped into my head; After I write it, I'm gonna write the next chapter of Disappeared;
Anywho, as always Enjoy and don't forget to review(:
The girl fell to her knees in tears.
"Shh, it'll be okay baby, it's only a couple months." Micah said as he kneeled down beside her, taking her face in his hands.
"How, how can you say it'll be okay?" she wept.
He lifted her head so he could see her blue eyes.
"It's only three months, at least it's not a year." he wiped her tears gently with his thumb and brushed the hair from her face.
"Three months? Promise?" she asked looking at him, hope in her eyes.
"Three months, not a day longer." he smiled, then helping her back up to her feet, he wrapped his arms around her and held her for a moment.
"I'm gonna miss holding you in my arms." he mumbled as he nuzzled his face into her shoulder, taking in her sweet sent.
She slightly nodded, seeing as she had momentarily forgotten how to speak.
They just stood there in complete silence as he held her securely in his arms.
"When are you leaving?" she asked looking up at him slightly.
He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment.
"Day after tomorrow…" he trailed off.
"What?! You're only giving me a day and a half warning?! Micah!" she whined as more tears started to fall down her face.
"I know, I'm sorry, look don't cry baby girl, that's all the notice I got, the letter got here two days ago."
"Still, couldn't you have told me when you read the letter?"
"I was a little freaked out, I didn't exactly know what to do, I'm sorry love, I really am."
She shook her head and wiped the tears from her face that just couldn't seem to stop.
"I know you are babe, I'm sorry too, I'm not making much sense lately"
He brushed the hair away from her forehead and kissed it gently.
"You've got no reason to be sorry, lex."
"Wait, is day after tomorrow Friday the twenty-first?" Lexi asked, as she suddenly seemed to remember something.
"Yeah…it is." Micah said after thinking a moment.
"Crap, crap, crap." she said, shaking her head.
"What is it, love?""That's the day I have to go to the doctors…"
"Yeah…" she trailed off, thinking for a moment.
"If I tell him the truth, he'll just worry, and he won't want to leave me, I can't let that happen…"
She nodded slightly and looked at him.
"Yeah, I've been feeling…a little off lately, I'm sure it's just something minor, maybe a cold or something." she added, hoping he'd believe her.
"What time do you leave?"
"I have to be on the train by noon."
"Good." she smiled with a sigh of relief, "my appointment's at ten, so I'll be able to see you off."
"Congratulations, Alexandria your going to have a baby." the doctor said as she came back into her office where Alex was sitting.
"Wow.." was all she could manage to say.
The doctor came and sat by her and gave her a piece of paper.
"It's the baby, or what soon will be a baby." she smiled, pointing to the center of the black and white picture.
Alex smiled and nodded.
The doctor talked to Alex for a bit longer, explaining things and such.
By the time she got out of the doctors office it was nearly noon, so she rushed as fast as she could to Central Station.
Bursting through the main doors, she ran to where Micah said he'd meet her, and there he was, waiting for her.
She ran into his open arms and buried her head in his shoulder.
"What did the doctor say?" he asked, still holding onto her tightly.
"It's not important right now, I'll write you a letter telling you later." she mumbled into his shoulder.
"Babe, it is important."
She shook her head.
"I promise, I'll tell you later."
The train's whistle blew loudly, announcing the last boarding call.
Alex took a deep breath and wrapped her arms around Micah's waist, holding onto him tightly as a tear fell down her face.
"It's only three months." he reminded her as he lifted her chin and gently wiped her tears.
"I know… but what if something happens to you? I-I don't know what I'd do…" she said as more tears started to fall down her face.
"I promise, I'll come home, full and intact."
The whistle blew again.
She sniffed and let go of him.
"I'll miss you."
He took her in his arms and kissed her passionately, one last time.
"And I'll miss you."
She wiped the tears from her face, and stepped back.
"I love you." she said quietly.
He kissed her once more.
"And I love you, so very much."
With that he grabbed his bag and ran onto the train.
She walked up to where she could see him and lifted her one hand up and waved as the train slowly started to move.
One of her hands was gently resting on her stomach, while the other waved goodbye.
Micah ran to his place on the train and opened the window, sticking his hand out and waving back.
Then the train soon disappeared.
