So here is my story Remember December…..

Chapter one

Buzz…. buzz…. buzz. 'Ugh! What's that's annoying buzzing sound?' Madison thought. She hated when something woke her up when she was having such a wonderful dream. She turned her head to the side and saw that her clock told her it was 6:20.

'Oh my goodness! Who's waking me up at this time? I could still be asleep. I will kill whoever is-' Buzz…. buzz…. Buzz. She was interrupted by the buzzing noise. Madison let out a small growl and sat up. She looked over at her night stand and saw that her phone was missing.

Buzz…. buzz…. Buzz. 'Shit! Where is it?' She started to get out of her bed to find out where she left her phone. When her feet hit the cold wooden floor, she shivered. She got up slowly so she wouldn't wake up her mom. Her mom was exactly like her. She will kill the person that woke her up early. Buzz…. buzz…. Madison found her phone on the floor next to her night stand.

It read One New Message 'Wow! I woke up cause of one stupid little message? FAN-FREAKEN-TASIC!' Kaidance thought bitterly. She sat back down on her bed and opened her phone. The message read,

From Kailey- Hello darling! Are you still alive? WHY WON'T YOU ANSWER MY PHONE CALL?! You know how I get worried really easily. Please please pleaaasee txt me as soon as you read this message! Oh and sorry for waking you up early today :) I know I know. You will kill me when you see me. BUT IT'S AN EMERGENCY! You always told me to txt you if I need you for anything at anytime. So guess what... I NEED YOU RITE NOW! But not in the way you think, you dirty girl, you ;) lol well call me back ASAP! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE!

'WOW! It's so like her to text so early and text too much.' Madison let out a little giggle. It was so like her best friend. Even that time she ripped a dollar bill and had to pay the cashier, she wouldn't give him the dollar. "Cause I hate, with a passion, paying with ripped money," that's what Kailey told Madison that day when Madison had to go to the store just to give her best friend a non-ripped dollar. But she didn't care, she loved her best friend.

They had known each other since 4th grade, when Madison had recently moved to Harrisgrove, England. Before she moved, her and her family used to live in California. She didn't remember much about living there. When she tries to think about her past, she can only get blurry flashes of red and orange and after that she can't remember anything. She starts to get a headache when she tries to remember more. Madison shakes her head, as if trying to shake away the fear she feels when trying to remember. Sighing, she decides to call back her best friend, just to see what the commotion was about.

Madison picks up her phone and dials Kailey's number. After two rings, she picks up.

"Finally you call back! What happened to you? Like I know you're a heavy sleeper but shit!" she giggles, "Anyway, there was a whole reason why I texted you so early this morning. I know you're going to kill me, but I don't think you will because you love me too much and so-"

Madison interrupted her "Okay! Can you stop talking so much! Ugh! You know how I am in the morning when I don't have my coffee! Shit! Can you breathe and repeat everything slower for me please?"

Kiley sighed as to say yes.

"Okay. Thank you. So what was the whole reason you texted me?" Madison asked, irritated.

Kailey laughed, "Okay miss diva! If you're done with your temper tantrum, can I move on?"

Madison giggled "Of course, your royal highness. You have my full undivided attention, your majesty!"

"Ha-ha! Funny, really funny," Kailey said sarcastically "Anyways, what I was saying before you interrupted me was that I need your help."

"Okay, well, that's already been established. What do you need help with?" she asked impatiently.

"Wow! Established is such a big word for you. What did you do? Eat the dictionary or something?" Kailey said sarcastically.

"Well, now aren't we all bright and shinning this morning? You're the one that woke me up this morning. It should be ME that should be using sarcasm, not you missy. So are you going to tell me what you need or do I need to be a bitch to you and hang up in order for you to call me later and tell me? Your choice," Madison said bitchily.

Sighing, Kailey said, "Look I'm sorry, okay? I'm just a mess right now. I didn't get my 8 hours of sleep! It's just that I found out my older brother got a girl pregnant and my parents kicked him out."

Gasping, Madison asked, "He got a girl pregnant?! When did all this happen? I'm so sorry! Do you need me to come over or do you want to come over here?" She started to panic. She knew that Kailey was very closer to her older brother. And if anything would happen to him, it would be like if it happened to her too. They were that close.

'Who's the girl? How did he tell Kailey and their parents about the whole situation? Where would he go! How would he support the baby? Most important of all, would he be there for his kid? Or just leave the girl?' All these questions were flowing around in Madison's head. She wanted to ask Kailey but was too afraid she would break down over the phone.

"So, the reason I called was to ask if I can come over today, like, right now and after school. I don't think I can handle my parents yelling at him," Kailey said quietly.

"Oh! Of course you can come over. You know that and you never need to ask! This is like your second house. I know my mom won't mind."

"Oh, okay thanks. I'll be there in like 5 minutes."

"Alright then, I'll be waiting darling!"

Kailey giggled, "okay, bye darling!"

"Bye, my cupcake!" They both laughed at the same time then hung up.

'Wow. I still cannot believe her brother got a girl pregnant! He's like my big brother too. What an idiot! He's still so young. Well, if you count being 21 as young.' Madison thought, still shocked from the news she received from her best friend. She looked at her clock again, curious what time it was. It said it was 6:50. 'Well, I guess it's time to get ready.' She got up from her bed and walked over to her walk in closet. She searched through her closet to see what she would wear on the first day back from winter break. Just as she got her favorite black skinny jeans, her door bell rang.

'That must be Kailey.' Madison thought happily. She skipped down her stairs and quickly walked to her door. She throw open her door, just to find her best friend staring at the house next door.

"Hey, what's up? Whatcha lookin' at?" Madison said curiously.

"Did you know you're getting new neighbors? And that there moving into the house that's been abandon for like 4 years? That house is kind of creepy, don't you think? I heard that the old lady that lived there was murdered and chopped in to little pieces. Gross, right?" Kiley said excited. She loved mysteries. One time, in 5th grade, they asked her what she wanted to be and she said she want to be a detective because she wanted to see how creative the murders got with their victims.

"Uhm, as a matter of fact I knew that lady next door. She wasn't murdered. She moved to New York because she was tired of Harrisgrove. And I quote 'Nothing ever happens here. It's a very dull town, so that's why I'm moving.' Yup, that's what she told me. She said she wanted some excitement in her life. And this town wasn't giving it to her," she said matter-of-factly

"You had to ruin my day, didn't you miss 'As-a-matter-of-fact'," Kailey giggled "Anyways, may I come in? I need to borrow your make-up really bad!"

Madison laughed. "You always use my make-up! Don't you have any of your own?"

Kailey shook her head and gave Madison the best puppy-dog look she can give her, but she just laughed.

"Alright then, you can go use my make-up if you stop making that face. You look like an idiot!" Kailey stuck her tongue out at her and ran pasted her and up to her room. Madison just laughed some more at her dorky best friend.

Just as she was about to close the door, she snuck a peek at her new neighbors. Standing by the moving truck was a guy with a box, staring at her intensely. Madison felt like something was off about him. Even thought she couldn't see his face, she knew that he was staring right at her by the way he was standing. 'He looks like a statue, the way he's standing straight like that.' Madison thought. Just then Kailey snuck up on her and scared her. She gave a little yelp and turned to give her best friend a murderous glare.

"What?" Kailey said innocently.

"Run," She said murderously.

Just as she was about to turn to catch her best friend, Kailey shrieked and ran up stairs giggling. Sighing, Madison turned to her look at her new neighbor again; just to find that he was gone. 'Hmm, that's strange. I swear he was right there like a couple second ago!' Madison shut and locked the door without another thought, but, little did she know that her new neighbor was crouched behind her red tulips watching her every move very closely.
