The Trickster's Fool
In the past Asgard was never a peaceful place because there was a small group of people there, who were called the Fools. Farbauti and Laufrey were the leaders of this group and occasionally they would cause trouble in nearby towns. They would often trick the weak hearted people to do chores for them and when the Fools didn't need them anymore they would just kill them and find other weak hearted people. The Fools did that every day until a rich prince by the name of Odin, who rode an eight legged horse named Sleipnir and stepped in to stop the madness. Odin killed every single Fool except one boy, who was said to be the son of Farbauti and Laufrey. Odin didn't have the courage to kill that boy, in fact Odin actually felt sorry for the little boy. When Odin asked for his name, the boy answered back "Loki".
Then Odin adopted Loki secretly so that people would think that all The Fools have died and that Odin successfully completed his mission. Odin also gave Loki part of his palace. Odin loved Loki more than anything else but Loki was up to no good. Every night Loki was having nightmares about some man killing his parents. As the nights passed by the nightmares were turning clearer until one night when he saw the face of the killer, it was his father!
Loki started learning the ways of a prankster. He would often disobey his father and trick town's people for money. Odin started to have a bad feeling that Loki was starting to be more like his real parents. Everyday Odin kept asking Loki if anything was wrong but Loki would always reply "No, there is nothing wrong". Loki was actually lying to his father everyday making Odin a Trickster's Fool.
As the days passed by Loki was planning to avenge his parents by killing his father, Odin. One day when Odin left to visit some friends of his. Loki took the advantage by morphing himself to look exactly like his father, Odin. Loki as Odin caused trouble around town. He killed the innocent, stole money from the rich, and caused everyone to hate him. Loki simply found a hiding spot and morphed back to his original self.
The day Odin came back a mob equipped with swords, guns, and many dangerous weapons attacked Odin. Odin was trying to flee with his eight legged horse, Sleipnir which was said to be the fastest horse alive. Then Odin noticed that the horse was getting slower until he noticed only four legs on Sleipnir and the rest were cut off. Odin knew this was all the work of his son, Loki. The mob was able to catch up with Odin and they started throwing swords at Odin. One of the swords stabbed the horse and Odin fell to the ground.
Loki suddenly came and shouted "Is this the man who was killing the innocent and stealing from the rich!" The mob shouted "Yeah!" Loki took out his sword and stabbed his own father and in the end the mob praised Loki's heroic deed and made him the prince of Asgard.
The people didn't know who Loki was because Odin adopted him secretly. Loki took the chance of tricking the town's people that he was a hero. In the end Loki successfully avenged his parents and Asgard fell into the hands of the ultimate trickster, Loki.
