Words from the Spirit of Writer's Block

A poem by: DW Tyn

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PUT THOSE WORDS TOGTHER?
DO YOU REALLY THAT THEY COULD REMOTELY RYTHME?
HAVE I INTERRUPTED A MOMENT OF THOUGHT,

WHILE YOUR MUSE I HAVE CAUGHT,
HAVE YOU BECOME SO DISTRAUGHT,
WHILE YOU'VE BEEN WASTING YOUR TIME?
BECAUSE YOU ARE MINE!

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SIT HERE IN SILENCE?
COULD IT BE THAT BROODING IS PART OF YOUR ART?
IS IT AN EXTENSION OF ARTISTIC LICENSE,
A MOODY DEFIANCE,
OF ALL OF LIFE'S TYRANTS,
WHILE YOU'VE BEEN SEARCHING YOUR HEART,
ALONE, WITH ME IN THE DARK!
