I've always thought you were cute. Not the cutest boy in school, but average-cute.
Well, not always. A couple months ago, you wore your hair slicked back all the time. I'm not gunna lie, it was pretty hideous...
But I've never had a crush on you. I can't even, today, say that I like you.
One day, I was walking home from school with two friends. We were laughing and goofing off together, heading out of the school's driveway. You were there, in your car. Next to the street, about to take a right onto the road, I remember. You turned to the left, then the right to make sure the road was clear, but when you turned my direction, you looked right at me. Our eyes locked and didn't move.
I stopped walking and we both sat there, expressionless. You looked at me with your average-cute face, but in those five seconds, my stomach flipped for you, my heart skipped a beat for you.
Then the car behind you honked, and you jumped and said "oh!" (I heard you because your window was down.) You drove down the street, and I walked home with my friends.
I honestly can't say that I even like you, but for that one moment locked in time, you weren't average, you were extraordinary; and you were my everything.
