"I want to know you."
"I want to know you too."
Your eyes crinkle upwards
and ask innocently,
casually
"what is your greatest desire?"
your words linger
And I can feel your laughter against my neck
your relaxed sleep speech searching for confession
in unknown waters swaying in the darkness.
And the unspoken words:
I want you to be
something more.
Giant-like, a planet I can travel around
so I can be comfortable with cyclical movements
And never be afraid
of being shut out of the revolving ring.
From here, the stars shine beautifully
but they are also the loneliest things I've ever seen.
