"So, how was your date yesterday?" Carol asks as she struts up to Kyle at his locker, her purple spikes now hot pink and her piercings all in.

"Well," he says as he turns around to face her and takes a double take. "You look really different."

Carol laughs. "Good. I felt as if the purple spikes and nose piercing wasn't cutting it." Kyle warily continues.

"He took me someplace special, we talked, and, oh yeah, the swing we were sitting on fell, so I'm pretty sure that I have a huge bruise on my ass."

"Wait, you guys were sharing a swing? Meaning you was on his lap-right? Oh my gosh, I'm so spreading this." She struts back down the hallway before stopping to ask a single question. "So…are you gay?" Kyle hesitates, knowing that once he answers the whole school will know. He decides to risk it.

"Yes." He says confidently. If I'm coming put, minds well make it known, right? Carol nods and smiles in respect. Kyle watches her go down the hall before hearing a voice behind him.

"Carol sure has an interesting sense of fashion." Kyle turns and blushes to see Ian leaning against the locker next to him, arms crossed at his chest and a huge grin on his face

"Ian, what's up?" Ian shrugs.

"Just talking to you. So, what'd you think of yesterday?" he says nervously. He stands up straight and sticks his hands roughly in his pockets. Kyle smiles, glad to have been the one to do this for once.

"I think that we should do it again." Kyle says, enjoying the sight of happiness that fills Ian's face.

"Um- yeah, okay. I'll text you?" As he walks away, Kyle looks down to see a plain sheet of paper, folded up. He opens it to find it to be another note from his secret admirer.

I hope that one day you can see yourself through my eyes, and that one day you will actually see me.

Short and simple as always. Kyle looks up completely baffled. Was this guy Ian, or was it just a coincidence?
