Garreth Azza McCloud; strong, tall, demonic, drop-dead-gorgeous - one hundred percent male, third son of a great warrior demon.

Seriously, is that all she sees me as?

Garreth stood six foot six. He had long platinum hair that reached his shoulders. His horns curled back, much like a rams. His ears were rounded, and his right ear contained three gold hoops. His eyes were the colour of amber, and his skin was tanned from all the hours spent outside in the sun. He had ropy muscles, turning his arms and legs into tree trunks.

Well, that's a little better…

Garreth had four other brothers. Kallen and Marik were his older bothers, Allen and Jasper where his younger brothers. Kallen and Marik shared the amber eye colour with him, the same eye colour their father had with black hair. Allen and Jasper had the same platinum hair that their mother had, with dark blue eyes.

Okay, seriously, enough woman! Get to the action; everyone knows whom I am.

Garreth was riding along the countryside, with his brother Kallen. A large army marched a long behind them. The two brothers were headed towards the neighbouring country, seeking allegiance with King Richard father to Garreth's best friend William…

What the hell female! Where are you going, don't just leave things there! You have any idea what will happen if you just leave us hanging? And seriously, what's with the change in writing style?

As the scene before Garreth seemed to fade away, he found himself standing in a small apartment, with a computer tucked away in the corner. A woman in a grey T-shirt and baggy PJ pants walked into a small kitchenette, searching for food. Garreth sighed in frustration, as he leaned against the counter that separated the living room from the kitchen. Inside the kitchen were cupboards, a fridge, sink and a small dishwasher. The living room had a flat screen TV, two couches with a coffee table. In the corner by the window was a desk with a laptop and black wheelie chair.

"Get back to work woman," Garreth grumbled, but the woman walking around the kitchen, completely ignoring him. "Damn witch, get back to work!"

BelleGraham was having problems. Garreth, her muse, had decided to demand that she give him a story of his own; and what a hit had it been, bigger than her Bloodlines Saga. All five of the brothers had their own following and stories of their own. The wars and the hardships the brothers had gone through were immense and each of them took the trails differently. Garreth himself had become withdrawn, cold hearted towards anyone but his own family.

"I wonder who's fault that is?" Garreth snapped, having been listening to Belle's thoughts. "How much longer must you torment me?"

Belle had similar thoughts, what was she going to do with him? Kallen, Marik, Allen and Jasper had their soul mates, but where was Garreth's? Every time she gave him a female of his own, it didn't work. The first four had fallen in love with his brothers instead. None of the females had fit Garreth right, and rejection was predestined.

With food in hand, Belle went back to her laptop and started working.

"Finally woman! Hopefully this female you give me will be the one." Garreth groaned as he faded from her living room.

Hours later, Belle decided to take a break, Garreth reappeared in her living room once more, grumbling to himself. "That wench doesn't like me, I can already tell. End it now witch! Besides, do you really think Will, will allow me to marry his last sister?"

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Belle's best friend Chasity Callahan walked in. Again, Garreth groused. "Bring the Vampire with you too?" And again, he went unheard

"Oh Garreth, you know you like me." Mashalia, Queen of Vampires walked across the threshold of the apartment. Garreth looked towards Mashalia, looking bored. "Oh, poor Garreth, another rejection incoming?"

"If you're looking for the Halfling, she's in the bedroom." Garreth snapped, not willing to put up with the Vampire Queen at the moment. Normally they verbally spared back and forth, but he wasn't in the mood.

"Her name is Flair," Mashalia answered, crossing her arms under her breasts. "Just because you're tired of getting rejected that doesn't mean you have to take it out on me or my cousin."

"Hey Mash!" Flair cried out as she stepped out of the bedroom. "I'd leave Garreth be today, he's extra grumpy."

"Is that why you're in the bedroom?" Mashalia asked, looking up at Garreth with disbelief. "Seriously, you banished her to the bedroom?"

"No," Garreth snapped, moving from Mashalia towards the window.

"He didn't hun, I kind of took Belle's mind frame," Flair answered, waving Mash towards the bedroom. "Whenever Belle's dad got mad or frustrated she just stayed out of the way. So, I'm staying out of the way! Why don't we go and see what friends we can find?"

Mashalia nodded, and disappeared down the hall. On the couch, Chasity and Belle had a printed spreadsheet out, but Belle just stared off into space. Finally Chasity reached over and poked her friend in the shoulder.

"Hey, are you going to help me with the store's finances or just stare out into space?"

"What? You mean you didn't come here to keep me company?" Belle asked, smirking a little bit. "And here I thought you were only visiting because I was lonely."

Chasity shook her head with a smile on her face. "So, what's got you bummed?"

"I just don't know what to do with him," Belle answered, rubbing the back of her head as she punched in a few numbers in a calculator.

"With who?" Chasity asked frowning a bit, pulling out a cash box and started to sort and count the money.

"Garreth."

"Oh, the character," Chasity answered, pausing a moment. "What's the problem this time?"

"This princess, I was going to set him up with, isn't co-operating and not really taking a liking to him." Belle answered running a hand through her hair.

"Don't you hate when characters don't work the way you want them too?" Chasity asked, smiling. "As for what to do with him... Maybe just find someone else for him. Didn't one of his bothers rescue and marry a slave?"

"Yeah... and his best friend is very protective of his sisters," Belle mumbled, wrinkling her nose.

"Honestly, I had seen that one sister that isn't hitched, with one of the soldiers." Chasity admitted.

"Yeah, that might be better," Belle, answered, "I was actually thinking of making her gay."

"No! Don't do that!"

Both girls broke into a fit of giggles, as Garreth stared at his witch with disbelief. Being rejected for another male was one thing, but a female that was attracted to another female? No, that would be the hardest blow to his ego he could take!

Around eleven in the evening, Chasity said that she needed to get back to her place and her kids.

"Remember, we open early tomorrow."

"I know Chasity. Its not like I've got far to travel." Belle answered smiling, standing up, taking the cash box and placed it into a safe behind her computer desk.

"Yeah, all you gotta do is go down stairs, but you've still late sometimes," Chasity answered, giving Belle a pointed look.

"I won't be late, I promise."

From within the bedroom, Mashalia and Flair stepped into the kitchen and smiled at Garreth. "Had fun listening to girl talk?"

"Flair, that woman was going to make that princess interested in another woman!" Garreth grumbled crossing his arms, causing his muscles to bulge and flex.

"Well, that's different," Flair, answered, looking towards the ceiling. "I don't think she's done that before."

"She's not doing it."

"Oh, then down worry about it!"

"Well, I'm leaving cousin, I'll see you in the shop in the morning." Mashalia said softly.

"Yep, see ya in the morning," Flair answered, hugging her cousin as Chasity and Mashalia headed out the door.

Garreth stayed in the living room as Belle walked off to take a shower. He stood at the computer that Belle had left turned on. He read a few passages of the text that was displayed on the screen. It seemed that no matter how many times his woman reworded the letters on this thing, it never wanted to work out. Finally Garreth faded from this plane and headed back to his own. Kallen was pacing in the room Garreth had disappeared from not to long ago.

"How long was I gone this time?" Garreth asked, grumbling in frustration.

"Few hours," Kallen answered, his arms crossed glaring at his younger brother. "You need to stop this witch Garreth." Kallen's amber eyes bleeding black, as his horns straightened in anger. Kallen's horns, unlike his brother's curved ones, were straighter with a slight twist at the base, a sign that he was the future king. "If William didn't know about this witch, there would be hell to pay right about now."

"Its not my fault Kallen," Garreth answered, sighing, running a hand through his hair. "I have no control over when I come and go from that world."

"It needs to stop." Kallen answered, snapping. "That's why I have Jasper going through the library at home. If there's a way to stop this, or to bring the witch here, he'll be able to find it."

"If she's able to finish this next adventure," Garreth answered, taking a seat on the bed. "She'll be leaving us alone. She wants to find my mate, and once she does, I think she's moving on to another project. I hope she moves onto another project. Let her harass someone else."

"As long as this works out," Kallen answered, calming down. The amber if his eyes turned back to normal and the twist returned to his horns. Kallen's black hair fell down his back in a long ropy braid.

"About that," Garreth answered, clearing his throat. "Its obvious the female doesn't want me. Even William has been rather short with me, I don't think he wants me to marry her either."

"How do you know?" Kallen asked, frowning.

"Well, it's obvious for the most part," Garreth answered, unlacing and removing his boots. "And the witch was talking about how she couldn't see it, and how she'd rather partner her with one of the soldiers."

Kallen swore under his breath and punted a pillow across the room. Both brothers were frustrated with this woman and something needed to be done. "In the morning, we'll find out. I haven't seen William since Jasper found his mate; I'd enjoy the visit. You can return home if you want Kallen."

Kallen was silent a moment before he nodded. "Alright. I'm sure Jasper would need the help if he hasn't found anything by the time I return." Kallen sighed softly, and sat on the bed beside his brother.

"That witch drives me up the wall," Garreth mumbled, after a moment of silence. "But she's a right pretty little thing. I wouldn't mind keeping her as a mate."

"Is that you speaking, or the witch?" Kallen asked, glaring at his brother. "You're daft, if you actually mean it."

Garreth glared back at his brother and nearly pushed him off the bed. "Then I must be daft, because I mean it, and she didn't write these feelings. Why do you think she hadn't left me alone yet?"
