Why can't I break free?
Please take me far from here,
And show me the real me.
Let me test your wholesome might
Tear away this cocoon from me,
And use all your strength tonight.
Push me from this teetering ledge,
Pull me up toward the sky,
And break open my ready wings.
So this also an oldie. This is, however, one of my favorites. So simple, but it describes all that I felt.
