Krystine walked back into the locker room with Josie and laughed. It had been raining like any other day and some of the boys decided to play ballerina and do the splits on the field. Funniest things they had witnessed all day. Kira was sitting on top of the girls' gym lockers disapprovingly, which made Josie and Krystine look at the floor with shame. "You guys leave me behind and go ogle at the football players and you don't even take me with you? What is wrong with you?" She asked and jumped off the lockers; landing in front of the other two. Krystine looked up and blinked. Was she serious, she actually wanted to come with them for once? Josie was snickering behind Krystine about something and walked up to Kira.

"You wanted to go check out your boyfriend, eh Kira, darling," Josie stated with a wink. Krystine giggled with her while Kira's face got red and hot. Even though the three of them weren't actually dating anyone they still bothered each other about certain boys. Like J.P. to Krystine; Kira to a boy in there grade that they called Jamie, and Josie to any boy that came across to her as HOTT. Josie was a boy-crazy girl in Krystine and Kira's mind, but they loved her all the same. Krystine walked over to her locker and opened it up to put her over shirt and sweats in it.

"I refuse to be part of that thought," Kira said and huffed. She was very flustered over a couple boys that were like her stalkers and friends. Krystine had been listening to her rant about them since the seventh grade but it never bothered her unless it was a boy that was totally up to no good. Josie was about to say something but the rest of the V-ball team came and seemed a little excited and cut her off.(More like crazy nuns or something)

"Saved by the team once again, dear," Krystine said and out of habit called Kira dear. She and Kira have been close since the fourth grade and were always calling each other different names. 'Dear' or 'deary' stuck to Krystine to call Kira and 'Boss' was what Kira often called Krystine. A thought popped up in Krystine's mind and she smiled to herself. She got on top of the lockers and coughed. "The word of the day shall be...Butt. Now, what do we do to 'butt'?" She asked and looked around. They had a word of the as often as someone could remember and it was all Krystine most of the time; it was her idea for it in the eighth grade on the second day of practice.

"Kick it, duh," a girl said over in the corner that was fixing her jersey. She was on the J.V. All of the girls giggled with her. Kira rolled her eyes and shut Krystine's locker, but laughed anyway.

"I don't know about you but mine get's smacked by boys some times," another said and blushed. One of the shyer girls that was on the J.V. Krystine nodded. She knew exactly what she meant.

"Tinkerbell, you know only because of J.P. always looking at yours and brushing against it. That boy, if I didn't swear he liked you, he'd be my gay best friend," Josie said confidently. Krystine's face turned into a budding rose.

"He doesn't do that type of stuff and you know it Jos. He's a gentleman unlike you. If I didn't know you were boy crazy I would think you're girl crazy; always smacking my ass," Krystine said and did the 'that's right, I said it' look and pose. Those two have always gone at it with that subject for some reason. Though Josie knew that it was an odd subject for Krystine; the girl that could have a boyfriend but isn't confident enough in herself to ask. Nor would she open her real self for many people. She headed out of the room when she bumped into someone. "My bad."

"Watch it, Anvolk, you might end up not being able to play if you're always this klutzy," Jane said and flipped her hair. She had always had it out for Krystine for 'stealing' Kira away from her and also the rivalry had always been there since Kindergarten for some reason. Krystine glared at Jane and blew up air to move her hair from her face. Kira and Josie went to her side and dragged her outside.

"Don't you dare do anything to her, Boss. I don't want my setter to be banned because of a stuck up snob like her. And I want my best friend around," Kira said and yanked Krystine even farther and headed out to bleachers. The Jr. High was still practicing and watched the three sit down on the first row of bleachers. Sighing, Krystine shook her head. She had always had problems keeping her temper in check but Jane had been a problem since they were young.

"Stuck up bitch," Krystine mumbled and stretched her arms over her head. The J.V. would be going first like always so the three of them had time to waste before the game. "What's the mission we are on?" She asked and caught a volleyball that was about to hit her. She gave it to a seventh grader who was apologizing like crazy. "It's all good." Krystine remembered being a newbie to volleyball and now she's a Sophomore that is on Varsity.

"We don't have too much time and I have Line Duty today..."Josie groaned and slipped on her sweatshirt that said 'Poptart' on it. She liked poptarts a LOT and so the nic-name stuck.

"That sucks..." Kira and Krystine said in unison. They had a nac for doing that a lot and looked at each other. "Would you stop that! Gah!" They both crossed their arms.

"You're ridiculous, you know that?" Krystine said and got up from the bleacher. Kira gave her a look like she was insane.

"Whatever boss," Kira said. Krystine headed over to the basket that held the volleyballs and started to set to the wall and back to herself. She continued to until one of the coaches for the Jr. High called her over.

"Yo, Coach-ness, how's the two girls?" She asked her previous coach. She loved her Jr. High coach, Mrs. Howel. She absolutely loved her coach and was sad to leave for highschool; but she did make it to Varsity because of her coach. Howel smiled and laughed.

"Good, but I called you over here to show them one of your infamous sets. I want them to see ways to set," Howel smiled again. Krystine laughed and nodded. She looked over the team and noted how tall some of them were; obviously taller than her since she was only four foot ten. Many of them blinked and looked skeptical; did they not think she was a setter? None the less a good one? I'll show them.. She thought and turned her attention back to the coach.

"Anything for you coach. She was the one to show me setting though," She winked. "Do you want Kira to come over and show her epic spikes?" Krystine tilted her head to a side and her bangs swept in front of her eyes. She didn't even wait for an answer and called Kira over.

"Whaaaatttt," Kira said and came over to them. Krystine held out a ball and smiled girl-ishly. "Fine. Better be an awesome set Boss." The two of them headed towards the net and got ready. Krystine got into the setter's spot and crouched low. "Ready?" Krystine nodded and Kira threw the ball. Krystine followed the ball and stretched out. Her arms turned into a 'superman' and set the ball straight up to Kira.

"Nice one!" Kira said and got ready to spike the ball. Her arm stretched up and SMACK! The ball hit the floor loudly. "Yeah! That was awesome! We better do that during the game!" Kira said and twirled Krystine.

"Definitely! We're going to whoop butt!" Krystine hugged Kira tightly and laughed. After their 'pep rally' they walked back over to the Jr. High team; they seemed to be surprised. "And that's how you do it." Krystine said and crossed her arms. She felt so accomplished for doing that and showing off a bit. Kira noticed that J.P. was watching and nudged Krystine. "What?" Krystine was talking to the team when she got shoved. Kira pointed over to the locker rooms' entrances. Krystine glanced over there and tried not to smirk. "Yes I see J.P. over there." Not sure on what Kira wanted her to say or do, she went with a generic saying. Rolling her eyes, Kira dragged Krystine over to J.P.

"Obviously he wanted to talk to you since he was drooling over here. And I was the one who spiked it." Saying this quietly before she did the final push for Krystine to trip into J.P.'s chest, Kira left the two. Blushing slightly, Krystine stuck her tongue out at the ground but smiled when she looked back up to J.P. To say that she was cute was an understatement in his eyes but no one new that. He was a manly person who is going to be a famous football player and instrument player. (Hopefully with his sister and Krystine with him by his side for the football and all his band mates for music.) He ruffled her hair and matched her expression; he had always enjoyed her presence-even if she was pissed off at the world.

"Hola. That was some amazing team work there." J.P. leaned against the wall and crossed his arms casually. Krystine smiled and flipped her bangs out of her face out of habit. "Wish it were that easy on the other sports."

"It's not really that easy but for people like us it is. Just have to get into a routine," rolling her eyes slightly Krystine couldn't help but do that. It was just something easy for her and the team since they've known each other for so long, being in such a tiny school and all; obviously everyone would know each other. "So...you staying for the game tonight?" Her eyes flickered to the Jane that was coming out of the locker room then back at him. Jane had always seemed to like the boy and it bothered many close people to J.P. Krystine glared slightly then returned her eyes to Jason.

"Of course Kryssi. How could I miss it?" he said and then laughed. The girl laughed with him until Jane flung herself upon the boy. Anyone could tell that Krystine was a little perturbed that she had invaded the two's conversation. "Hey Jane," J.P. said and looked at Krystine apologetically. Rolling her eyes the girl waved to him and headed off to the bleachers where Kira and Josie were. Jay made a face at the thought of her leaving but brought his attention to Jane instead. Before sitting down Krystine looked back to see J.P. and Jane talking. Sticking her nose up slightly she sat next to Kira and waited for the J.V. to start.
