The Elements
There are five of them: Fire, Air, Earth, Water and Spirit.
Kenna. Alios. Demetrius. Hydra. Enola.
And they are like no one you have ever met. These are the children who were born with extraordinary powers. They can manipulate the elements...
These children were all born in the exact same year.
On the exact same day.
At the exact same moment.
And these are the children who lost their parents in terrible accidents. Yes, every single one of them became orphans on the same disastrous day, whether it was by burning, drowning or choking. Or by falling off a cliff or simply becoming too insane to function.
The fire fighters didn't understand how the flames could have possibly burned through Mrs Brown's home, even though it was made fire proof. The Doctors were confused when Mr and Mrs Harriett both started choking from lack of oxygen in a room full of it. Meteorologists were stunned to find one single grey cloud hovering above the Cole's house before drowning them in their sleep. And authority had not one single idea at how such inspiring parents such as The Grays and the Tripe's could ever commit suicide in such a way.
It was all the same in the end.
There was always one fact kept a secret from the whole world. Something that was never wrong throughout all of these 'accidents'.
The children will always survive.
Have you ever heard of them? Seen their magic and power? Their parents were dead and the whole world accepted it. Or had they?
Was their parents stories really forgotten or had someone else noticed them too?
Now each of the five children, three girls and two boys, were sent to an orphanage called Elementa Manor, in a small town called Bilberry, in the middle of nowhere.
Together, each of them bonded over their past and dreamed of their future. They protected each other with a fierceness that could only be seen with family. No one could come between them. Nothing could break them apart. They loved each other; especially her…Enola Gray.
Enola, a pretty young girl with long dark hair and gentle hazel eyes, was the heart and soul of the group; their rock. The one they could turn to. She was trustworthy, wise, caring, dependable, honest and a whole lots of other words that would take too much time to write down. In short, she was the kindest loving friend anyone could ever have. And they didn't want to share.
But then years later, at the sweet age of sixteen, a new orphan came to town and something happened that cracked their foundations with a bitter tremor.
He took their heart.
