It is advised to listen to ''Paul Collier – Slow Down'' when you are reading this fiction. If the music ends before you're told to change it to something else please replay it.
It is my first drama fiction so it might suck, flames welcome.

Everything the main persona says is in Italic because he's whispering it, he's not thinking it to himself, kay?

You would be met with the strange sight of a mere preteen looking through the trash cans and containers if you looked in a back alley in Amsterdam. He had black hair, brown eyes and came about the height of 5 foot and 6 inches tall. He did not notice a female with red hair and eyes with the height of 6 foot and 2 inches.

The preteen wobbly stood up. He had not eaten for days. Taking one step he fell down on the ground. The woman laughed. The preteen placed his hands on the ground and slowly stood up. Walking slowly towards the container he sat to the side of it and hugged his knees crying. After the woman walked away he stood up again and looked through the container. After finding a broken glass bottle he climbed back out. The woman peeked around the corner and saw the child crying with a broken bottle in his hand. He whispered things to himself, which she barely could make out.

"Dad… Mom… I tried… I tried… I know you have had high expectations from me. You favored my sister over me because I wasn't good enough…" The boy whispered to himself. "I always craved better parents, and I always thought that it would be better if you were… gone… I always wanted to be able to move out and never hear of you again. All of you… Dad… Mom… and even my sister…"

He shed a few tears before looking at the glass bottle. Breathing raspily, he sat up and started whispering to himself again.

"But now that you are gone… there is a hollow void in my soul. I tried… I really did… but I'm tired of this life… I know I will end up in hell, while the three of you go to heaven… I wasn't the best of son to you, and I also wasn't good at school. You expected so much from me." He cried again. "I wanted to do better, but I just can't stand the pain and abuse from life anymore. I always told myself that life isn't an anime, nothing will go the way they go in novels or animes while I secretly hoped it really did. I kept telling myself 'I'm not that special, cut it out!' and I still secretly hoped I was."

Propping himself up against the alley wall, he held the bottle up and looked at it. Holding the broken bottle by the neck, he turned it around so that the pointed sharp ends were facing up. Breaking out in a small coughing fit, he let a few tears leak from the corner of his eyes.

"This is goodbye… Mom… Dad… Sis… I never expected being without you would be so hard…"

He wasn't a preteen who cherished life like most did. Right now, he wanted to end it quickly. However as hard as he tried, his arms refused to budge from their place as his whole body started shaking. Slowly, he managed to bring the jagged end of the bottle to his neck. With those sharp glass edges an inch from his throat, he moved it away as he planned on shoving it straight into his throat.

As the bottle neared time ticked faster than it should. The moment the edge sliced into his neck, the glass shattered. Leaving a few pieces stuck in his neck, with blood slowly flowing from the cuts. Before he could attempt it again, he was tackled by the female from before onto the ground. He looked at the female on him with hollow eyes, asking what she was doing. Soon it became clear that her lack of response was due to the sobs escaping from her.

"V-Vinny… is… is that you?" She cried into his chest.

Looking at the girl he told her no. She gave a look of disbelief at him.

"My name is not Vinny, no one in the world has that name… I am… was… Vincent." He coughed out, as the blood continued to flow from his self-inflicted wound.

The female looked at him with teary eyes, and then she started to sob. After a minute, her sobs had turned into full out crying. Vincent now noticed the glass bottle was knocked out of his hand when she had tackled him. He pried the female off him with the little strength he had left and slowly crawled towards the bottle while coughing out some blood. Before he got too far the girl dragged him up to his feet. He did not have any energy left to fight it and got dragged outside the alley. He saw that their destination was a hospital, and immediately started struggling, eventually leading to another fit of coughing. The woman turned around and gave him a look.

'Why… Why does this woman feel the need to torture me… I want to go… Leave this world behind… There is nothing left for me…'

"Vinny… Why… Why?" The woman asked in an anguished tone, her tears falling once more.

"Why… Why what?" Vincent raspily breathed again.

"Why are you leaving… After I just found you again…?"

He stared at her with a stoic look. The blood dripping from his neck now formed red lines.

"Who are you…" Vinny asked, keeping his stare on her.

"Vinny… How could you forget me… I was there all your life…" She said with her will slowly breaking.

Quickly his mind started going out the roof trying to find out who this woman might be. He didn't notice that all the people around them were now staring at the 'couple'. Suddenly his body went rigid as he realized who this was. Finding strength to struggle he broke free from her strong grip and ran away as far as his legs would carry him. Tear drops falling onto the ground with each step he took.

Finally his legs gave out and buckled under him causing him to collapse onto the unforgiving pavement. Lying on his side with his eyes wide open as silent tears fell from his face. He had banished her from his life, how could he have met her again? He heard footsteps coming his way, and quickly pulled himself behind the same container he was a few minutes ago. Peeking around the container he saw Her looking at him. Backing up against the container, She walked towards him. She came to a stop, kneeling before him while giving him a sad look. It was the last thing he saw before he finally blacked out from the blood loss.

Change the song to Paul Collier – Always Watching Over You

In a hospital, there were dozens of females all above five foot tall, different hair colors and eyes. They all were crying for the preteen who lay in the bed. They were unaware of him waking up due to the noise. Opening his eyes he heard sobs from left to right. Tilting his head he looked into the room. Eyes wide open he quickly laid back down and closed his eyes. These movements didn't go unnoticed by the one sitting on his bed – the red haired female. She looked at him with eyes asking for release; the tear drops would soon cause a tidal wave if she held them in. Then the preteen heard enough of the sobs and decided to 'wake up'. With his eyes closed he rolled over, causing his blood to pour out as the machines no longer were attached to him. All eyes were now on him as he slowly stood up and looked around the room.

"All of you... I'm so... I'm so sorry..." He cried. "I was only twelve when I thought I went crazy, and decided to make you to keep me company… It started with my soul being a female devil… Then slowly it expanded… But when I turned thirteen… It all collapsed… I… I neglected you all… Pushed you to the side, banished you from my mind… just because I felt that if I ignored you, you would feel bad."

"I… I didn't know that it would make you all feel like this… I'm so sorry…" He raspily breathed. "I… I know only one way to stop you all from ever crying again…"

At that moment he ran towards a wall, slamming into it headfirst. In one motion he slumped towards the ground with his head bleeding. The only machine that was still connected to him was the heart-rate monitor, now showing a flat line. Before they all could start crying they heard a faint voice in their heads.

"I know I wasn't the best of a host, and I always told myself that I would never leave you… I was so stupid… I made a promise I couldn't keep… I won't ask for forgiveness as I know I don't deserve it… It's my time to go to hell, to meet the real devil… Goodbye… Please… Forget about me as soon as possible… the sooner it will heal the void hole in your hearts…"

After ten seconds of hearing nothings they simultaneously started to cry their hearts out, knowing that they'll never forget him. Only one female only sobbed, sitting at a window side she supported her head with her right arm, looking out to the city. 'I am the real devil…'
