A/N: Whelp, with how crazy my life has been, I realized that I haven't updated this story since last-freakin'-year. I am very very sorry, but I simply don't have that much time to work on my stories :( I do have a few more chapters already written for this story, and I'll try to continue posting them, but don't expect them to be consistent. I'm hoping that during summer break from college I can find some time to write more, but I'll just have to wait and see. This chapter is mainly just fluff, so don't expect too much, haha. Enjoy.

I love skinny jeans.

Well, more like, I love Evan in skinny jeans. Yummy. They're…clingy. Tight. Leave little to the imagination. Lick worthy

"Stop staring," Evan muttered, blushing furiously, though he was grinning.

"I can't help it," I murmured back, my eyes glued to his well-formed backside.

Making a choked noise, Evan turned around, giving me a small glare. "Get out!" he said, pointing at his bedroom door.

"Aw," I whined, giving him a wounded look. "How come?"

"Because I'm changing into different pants!"

I resolutely clung to his bed, which I was currently laying on, digging my fingers into the mattress. "No!" I said petulantly.

Giving me an exasperated look, Evan shook his head, a small laugh bubbling up and escaping before he could stop it. "You're ridiculous."

I grinned at him, letting my head rest on his pillow as I watched him turn back to his mirror. I'd already finished getting ready for school, so I figured I'd come in here and pester him. He was currently working on his hair, attacking it with a brush, trying to tame his wild bed-head.

"Hey," he suddenly said, giving a particularly vicious tug on his brush as it caught in a tangle. "We should do something this weekend."

"Like what?"

"I don't know," he said, shrugging. "See a movie or something, I guess."

I smirked at his back, rolling onto my side and propping my head on my hand. "You asking me out on a date, Evan?"

I could tell he rolled his eyes by the little sound he made. Glancing at me, he gave me a narrow-eyed look, his cheeks lightly flushed. "Yes, you idiot!" he hissed.

"Ah, how endearing," I drawled.

"Shut up!"

Laughing, I ducked my head as the hairbrush went sailing past me and crashed into the wall, falling to the floor behind Evan's bed. Cursing, Evan stalked over to the bed and began crawling onto it. Thinking he came to snuggle, I held my arms out for him, but he ducked out of my grasp and laid down on the edge of the bed behind me. Sticking his hand down in the crack between the wall and his bed, he began looking for his brush, his face pressed against the mattress as he reached.

Rolling onto my back, I turned my head to watch him, my eyes raking over his form. He was stretched out on the bed, his shirt riding up as he struggled to find his brush. Grinning, I rolled over and flopped on top of him, making him grunt. Wrapping my arms around him, I hugged Evan's body to mine, closing my eyes and curling against him.

"Zeke!" he cried, struggling beneath me. Oh, boy. "You're heavy!"

Still grinning, I pressed a soft kiss to the side of his neck, feeling Evan go still beneath me.

"No fair," he said, his voice faint.

"Animals don't play fair," I replied, my voice low. Evan shivered, his heartbeat speeding up.

There was a sudden knock on the door, and I flung myself neatly off the bed in my surprise. Groaning from the floor, I gave Evan a small glare as he stood on his hands and knees and leaned over the edge of the bed, laughing down at me.

His mom opened the door when we didn't respond, raising her eyebrow at me as she saw me sprawled on the floor. Blinking, she shook her head, giving Evan an amused look.

"You're going to be late to school if you don't leave soon," she informed us.

I think Evan's parents had finally gotten used to me. I was polite to them, and they'd gradually thawed out their icy attitude towards me. They were still uncomfortable if Evan or I mentioned anything about his powers, so we made sure to keep that kind of talk to ourselves. I think they were seeing me as a sort of cousin who came for an extended visit or something, rather than Evan's 'teacher'.

"'Kay," Evan said, still snickering at me. "We'll be down in a second."

After his mother left, I rolled onto my front and got to my hands and knees. Giving Evan a small glare, I stood, dusting myself off indignantly.

Chuckling, Evan stood on his knees and wrapped his arms around my neck, tugging me closer. Easily giving in, I grabbed his waist and pressed a kiss to his lips, grinning into it as Evan leaned into me.

Lifting him up, I turned around and set him on his feet. Pulling away, I smirked as Evan made a small sound of protest, his face flushed and his eyes closed.

"Come on," I said quietly, letting the smirk turn into a content smile as I brushed my lips across Evan's warm cheek. "We have to go to school."

Sighing, Evan opened his eyes slowly, giving me one last hug before pulling away. We grabbed our bags from our rooms, then made our way downstairs. Evan said goodbye to his parents, then we headed for the Jeep.

About halfway to school, Evan suddenly squirmed in his seat, turning to me. "You never answered my question," he said, pouting a bit.

"What question?"

"Did you want to do something this weekend?"

I grinned over at him, feeling a spatter of butterflies go crazy in my gut. If I were a unicorn, I'd be shitting out rainbows, I was so happy. "Of course," I said cheerfully.

Evan glanced away, but not before I saw the huge smile that overtook his face. "Cool."

The school day passed pretty quickly. The second day of school is always pretty full of the teachers orienting themselves with their students, teaching them the rules, and generally getting to know everybody. I guess the only thing eventful that happened was during lunch.

I'd plopped down in my seat beside Evan that day, with Chloe, Daniel, Fin and Sam next to us. The four of Evan's new friends had giving my extremely full tray dubious glances, wondering if I could possibly eat that much.

"Oh, trust me," Evan had said dryly. "He can pack away a lot of food."

"You calling me fat?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

Evan turned to me, giving me one of his most serious, somber expressions. "Zeke," he said calmly. "With your metabolism, you could eat all of the candy in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, and not gain a pound."

I nodded sagely, staring thoughtfully at the ceiling. "I should try that one day."

Everyone laughed at us, excluding Fin, who just kind of glowered at his own food, poking it with his fork.

I began digging into my food, half-listening to the conversation between Evan and Chloe about some sort of movie that was 'all the rage.' Daniel and Sam pulled a deck of cards from out of nowhere and began playing gold fish, while Fin just sat there, still glowering.

Suddenly, something Chloe asked caught my attention, and I paused in eating, fork half-way to my mouth.

"…wanna go out sometime?"

I stared at her as the words left her mouth, feeling rage make my stomach tighten. My wolf mentally snarled, and I had to hold myself back from taking the fork and stabbing her remaining eye out.

"What?" Evan asked, surprised.

"Well, I figured we could go see the movie this weekend, then maybe grab some dinner. I know this great Chinese restaurant that I just know you'll love."

No. No, no, no, no. He's mine!

With my left hand, I reached up and grabbed the back of Evan's neck, dragging him towards me. Without missing a beat, Evan turned his head and tilted it up, meeting me lips to lips as I gave him a closed-mouth, possessive kiss.

Pulling back, I stared into his eyes, telling him silently he was mine. I felt his neck shiver beneath my hand, before I let go and returned to eating my lunch, acting as if nothing had happened.

It was so quick and simple, nobody else in the cafeteria noticed but the group sitting at our table. I could tell all four of them were staring at me and Evan in silent surprise. Smirking down at my tray, I took a bit of my lunch and chewed slowly, my eyes sliding over each of them in challenge, resting on Chloe the longest.

"Well," she finally choked out after a few seconds of awkward silence. "That certainly changes things. I'm guessing no movie, then?"

Evan laughed, though his cheeks were still a deep red. "Dunno. We could go in a group…?"

Daniel suddenly let out a small squeal, wrapping her small arms around Evan and giving him a big hug. Bewildered, Evan sat there wide-eyed as she began rocking back and forth, saying rapidly, "Oh my God! That is so cute! Does this mean you and Zeke are going out? I knew there was something going on between you two! How long have you been going out? Wait, you're new to the school, right? So how did you guys meet? During the summer? Or were you guys secretly pen-pals, and you came down to meet Zeke so you could go get married and"

"Holy shit, woman!" Chloe yelled, lurching across the table and shoving her hand over Daniel's mouth. "One question at a time!"

Daniel gasped when Chloe removed her hand, pulling in a lungful of air. Shaking her head, Daniel straightened her shirt dramatically, then calmly folded her hands on the table, releasing her grip on Evan.

"So," she said slowly― well, slowly for her. Her slow-talk was equal to a regular person's talk. "You two are dating, correct? Zeke's not one of those people who just likes kissing random people, is he?"

Evan chuckled, giving me a playful look. "Well, Zeke? You a nympho?"

I poked his side, earning a sharp squeak from him as he jerked away. Glaring, he rubbed where I'd poked him, pouting a bit.

"Yes, we're dating," Evan said with a little huff, crossing his arms.

Chloe snickered, her eyes amused. "Well, don't sound so excited about it," she joked.

The rest of lunch was basically spent with Daniel asking a ton of questions, Chloe poking fun at us, Sam playing solitaire but still listening to the conversation, and Fin glowering at us all.

I was glad Evan's friends had taken the news about Evan's and my relationship so well. I mean, the school is pretty big, and we're not the first to date the same sex, but you never know how people will react. Us werewolves are pretty used to being loners at school, but I know Evan's been craving some friends. After all, he's talked a lot about his old school, and how everyone always avoided him because they thought he was a freak.

Maybe he'll finally realize that, in this school, being a freak is pretty much the norm.

After school, as Evan and I were heading for the Jeep, Adam managed to catch up with me and pull me aside.

"How'd it go with dad?" he asked.

I shrugged, my hands buried in my pockets. "Not as bad as it could have, I guess. He didn't try to rip my throat out," I joked weakly. "Much."

Adam grimaced, shaking his head. "He's been pretty tense. He snapped at Greg when he made a joke about why football players slap each other's asses."

I snickered, my eyes narrowing. "Did dad put Greg in his place?"

Laughing, Adam nodded. "Greg was cowed like a little bitch."

Neither of us really liked Greg. He was one of the wolves dad took in out of pity. Over the years, Greg had grown arrogant, and did not like how dad was running the pack. He thought wolves and humans shouldn't mix, and that dad should keep the pack pure. Of course, those wolves with human mates made sure Greg was kept in line. And it looks like dad has finally lost patience for the other were.

"Has the pack found out about me and Evan?" I asked nervously. The pack may be pretty open-minded, but I don't know if they're that tolerant.

Adam shook his head. "No, not yet. If you want, I can have Ashton and Keeton spread the word, though. The other wolves might take the news better if it came from an unbiased source."

"Sure," I said, giving him a grateful― if a bit nervous― smile.

We said our goodbyes, then headed our separate ways. Evan was already sitting in the Jeep, waiting impatiently for me.

"Hurry up!" he yelled when he spotted me.

Grinning, I jogged the rest of the way to the car, tossing my bag in the back, before vaulting over the closed driver's side door and into the seat. Evan rolled his eyes, muttering a short, "Show-off," but I totally saw him checking me out.

"So," I said as we drove down the road heading home. "What was that movie you wanted to see? The one you and Chloe were talking about?"

He glanced at me out of the corner of his eyes, naming a movie I'd seen a few trailers for on TV. It was some sort of romantic comedy, with tons of raving reviews.

"We going to see it Friday night, or did you want to wait until Saturday?" I asked smoothly.

Evan gave me one of his heart-stopping smiles, his eyes shining. "Friday's good," he said softly, hugging his backpack to his chest.

"Did you want to invite your friends? Chloe seemed pretty interested in the movie," I added reluctantly after a second.

Evan glanced at me in surprise, studying my expression. "Seriously?"

I nodded, keeping my expression earnest. I'm a good little wolf, Evan. See? Now give me my prize.

Evan suddenly snorted, having seen past my expression. "Horn dog," he muttered, but I could hear his silent laughter. "Alright," he said loudly, giving me a haughty expression. "I'm inviting them all. Sam, Chloe, Daniel and Finn."

I blinked, working to keep the frown off my face. "Heeey," I whined, feeling cheated.

Evan snickered, poking my arm. "You said I could invite them."

"But I thought you'd be so charmed by my offer, you'd only want to spend time with me," I said sweetly, batting my eyes at him flirtatiously.

Laughing, Evan shoved at my arm, then yelled as I jerked the wheel, making the Jeep swerve. We were the only ones on the road at the moment, so I knew we weren't in any danger, but Evan still punched my shoulder when I straightened the Jeep out.

"Jerk!" he yelled, his face pale.

I snickered at him. "You started it."

Sticking his tongue out at me (Dear God, I remember the taste of that pink little candy), Evan turned away, resolutely staring out the window.

"Stupid wolf," he muttered.

But I just grinned.
