Cade and X

Today in the city of Cerulean Harbor, J. Cade gets ready to kick off the filming of Jay River. Although this is his first movie, Cade is not new to the showbiz world. His number one album was released three years ago. Bringing him just short of 50 million copies sold worldwide, Unwhole Hearts still holds the record for most copies sold every year since it was first released. Even now, fans gather at the filming site to be the first of many to wish him good luck.
However, not only are the fans there to wish him the best, but because today marks the five-year anniversary of the disappearance of Cade's longtime partner and friend, Shadow X.
When Cade first staged his debut, he was seen with a female clothed entirely in black and sporting a silver mask. Since they were given no name, the public made one up for her.
"She's like his shadow because she follows him everywhere, and since she's so mysterious, she's an X, like an unknown variable." A fan explained at Cade's summer world tour.
She had also been seen wearing jeans and a black Cade's Crew t-shirt, but never without the silver mask. The relationship between Cade and X were never clear, but rumors of them being lovers were disputed when Cade announced his relationship with supermodel Alyssa Nandita.
However, shortly after X disappeared, Cade and Alyssa broke up, leading many to believe the stars were involved in a lovers' triangle. Not seen since her disappearance in November five years ago, X still continues to baffle the public today.
