The colors of summer are passing us by again.

Beneath a starry sky ignited by fireflies,

You and I under the moonlight.

There's warmth in the air, and cicadas are humming,

In a forest nearby they sing their calming lullaby.

We're up until sunrise, watching the sky.

Phase through dark blue to light blue,

All I can feel is you.

Our world turns to golden,

As we're lying tangled in lonely fields.

Pure white clouds lazily float by,

Captivated by slow summer days;

When I never heard you cry.

We'll forget the sun when it goes down,

To show us a hazy night, its jealous sky.
