I fell into the meadow,

Wild flowers around my feet,

I sprang into the glen ditch,

And sprawled under the trees.

The sun was beaming on me,

I soaked up its golden rays,

A taste of summer in the air,

And grass gently a-sway.

I stayed there all day, just admiring the view,

But then the sun had slipped away and, with it, I had too,

I would return again, the next day to be sure,

That no matter how many times I see it, I would always return for more.
