"You're not my friend. Not anymore"

You stand there.

Eyes wide. Mouth open.

Shocked that she'd say something like that.

(You don't feel anything)

You're hearts pounding away in you're chest.

You're head is spinning

And in all honesty, you think you're going to faint.

(Still. You don't feel anything.)

You've known her forever.

6 years, 9 months and 11 days to be exact.

And she's telling YOU now that she never liked you.

(Nothing. You don't feel anything)

You have other friends.

Nicer.

Kinder.

Prettier Friends.

(It hits you now. Like a tonne of bricks.)

Rage. Pure unadulterated rage.

And utter heartbreak.

Friends Forever. She Promised. Friends Forever.

She let you down.

(Everyone does eventually.)

You try to pretend it doesn't hurt.

But every word she say's feels like a bullet.

You can feel the heart wrenching sobs building up in you're chest.

(You hold them in.)

You go home that night.

Hoping that pain medication works on broken hearts.

(You've had way more than the recommended dosage anyway.)

You fall asleep.

A sad smile on you're face

And tear tracks down you're cheeks.

(You're lucky. You won't feel anything.)
