Rating: M
Chapter: Prologue
Author: WWSE
Summary: In the future earthling found out they weren't alone in the Universe and the leaders of the world formed and governmental body to rule over galactic responsibilities. Their first decree was to leave most of the populace on the world blind to the fact that there were aliens out there. Hundreds of years have passed and the Extraterrestrial Diplomatic Congress has come far in their knowledge of the universe, and was still making leaps in bounds with their communication with their new universal neighbors. Now they are in the middle of the process of making allies, one of them being with the planet Dresren, where a humanoid like species called Felis live. In some ways the Felis are more advance then Humans and in others they not. The High King of Dresren wanted a human to be betrothed to his second child, Prince Zentiri, a warrior and head to the Kings Army. Earth will do anything to get this alliance to this deadly race and not to be on their bad side, because Planet Dresren could annihilate them out of existence, even if it meant giving them a few of their children.
Year 3045
President Stevens sat at the U.S. Diplomatic Platform in the Extraterrestrial Diplomatic Congress hall, glancing around discreetly. He saw all the other countries representatives and leaders from around the world talking in low quiet voices, most likely discussing the candidates for the second Prince of the planet Dresren of the Zuno Quadrant, and who is likely to be chosen. The President grimaced, hopefully the United States candidate was chosen, placing his country above all others on the planet, so that one of their representative would be elected when it came time to elect a new mediator.
"Mr. Kellen, how nice of you to finally join us," came from the president's right side. Turning he noted the woman's rigid posture. She was very aggressive in any point she like to make and you could hear the ice in her statement as she made her disapproval known. The president turned away from Kelsey Wright to catch a glimpse at the man standing to his left.
The man never paid the U.S. Congresswoman any mind as he spoke directly to the President. "President Stevens, I am deeply sorry for my tardiness, my nephew decided today would be a wonderful day to throw a fit, as I wouldn't let him come out of his everlasting break from his gymnastics career," said a voice from his left.
Looking up he was pleased to see that David Kellen was taking his seat beside him. The man had a no nonsense air about him. The president wondered at how the man's nephew could stand to confront such a domineering man, but was glad for the trait as it was one of the reasons the U.S. had picked the boy to be their candidate for the prince. The president was sure that if the boy had known that he was to become a possible choice to an alien prince, that he never knew even existed, as his betrothed, then he might not have acted out till he was out from under his Uncle David's control.
There were many reasons that Lexus Ryser was chosen: his fire that refused to be harnessed even by his oppressive uncle, his years in martial arts training, his gymnastics training, his fame, his upbringing gone wrong, him knowing three languages already and his knack for learning more. So many more reasons there were, and the main was that he was left with a cruel politician as his only living relative at the age of six, when his parents died in a bank shooting. Forcing him to be placed with an uncle that didn't give a damn if he was shipped off to another planet to be a prince's new toy and bride for the rest of his days
"No, not a problem let's just hope he doesn't get into any trouble in the meantime as we wait to see if he was chosen," replied the president.
"I will be happy if he is even chosen to become one of the other four to be giving to a lesser noble, then he will still be out of my hair, out of my home, and someone else's responsibility," replied Kellen.
"You are a cold blooded bastard Mr. Kellen," said Kelsey Wright.
"Madame would you fault me so with such a vexation under my heels?" asked Kellen.
"Mr. Kellen if it was for the benefit for my country and my position I would send my own child, even if they were perfectly behaved." She gave a dark and almost seductive smile to the men, "I meant it as a compliment dear sir."
David smirked at his secret love affair, and then turned to face the middle of the room as the middle platform began to rise and a hologram of a man appeared. The man, Justin Winters, elected by the extraterrestrial Diplomatic Congress as the earths mediator in the UDR: Universal Delegation of Representatives, was one of Frances representatives, and just as cold as his last name.
"Bonjour les représentants d'EDC et les dirigeants, j'espère que je vous trouve bien. You all know what this meeting is about. Let us recap so that all of us are on the same page, six months previous we were asked if we were willing to form a partnership, an alliance, with another planet because us humans can breed with this humanoid alien being. They wanted one of our people to become the second Prince's life mate, or partner if you will. Told us gender didn't matter that they had technology to help them reproduce with same sex couples. We then gave the king files on the different candidates one from each country, and we negotiated from there. We negotiated that five of our species can be chosen, to be brought to Dresren in person so that the Prince may chose his and I use this tern lightly, bride. The four not chosen will stay on Dresren and only by approval from the king be mated to other royalty and nobles from his kingdom and the three kingdoms run below him." Winters cold eyes glanced around the room surveying the occupants. "The first suitor is Aneko Kenji: female from Japan, the second is Tanesna Taj: female from Africa, the third is Sydney Bella: male from France, Lexus Ryser: male from the United States and the fifth and last suitor is Amora Garza: female from Mexico. Please those countries who have a picked suitor have them packed and in Russia at the Galaktichekikh Aviabazy no later than tomorrow night. Now onto other business . . ."
"Mr. President?" asked David looking to his country's leader.
"Go Mr. Kellen, getting him to the air base in Russia it top priority." David bowed and headed out noticing that four other representatives were doing the same.
Year 2743
Leaders of Earth had finally found that they are not the only beings in the Universe, and that there were billions if not more different species, had non-animalistic thought processes and more than a few with IQ greater than their own. They formed a council called Extraterrestrial Diplomatic Congress the EDC and elected a mediator to represent Earth in UDR discussions, and to begin forming alliances with other species and other planets. The EDC decided that they were going to keep all of this from the main populace so as to not create worldwide panic, and have gone to painstaking lengths to keep it from the world. This is earth's future and this will be its history.
