It could go on for hours
Days are short, nights are long
We pause only for life and you pocket my thong.
I laugh loud, the sound ringing with glee.
You glance back and notice you're missing a key.
I grin shamelessly and pat down my skirt
I pull my hair back up and button my shirt.
You cram yourself in and zip up.
Admiringly, I see your slacks aren't big enough.
We kiss goodbye and we go separate ways.
But each sunset we return for the rest of our days.
