Prologue

:

The new person searches their whole life for someone to accept in their lives. This perception can often be mistaken for love. Not a lot of people want to associate their search for a companion (not someone that they will have sex with every night and then fall asleep) with love. Why those people don't want to do that…is clearly seen by our lack of interactions with each other. An example could be how we handle conversations or how the new era of verbal skills includes having a Facebook account or being an obsessive blogger. These new ways of "finding love" or searching for it are useless. What love is there in something that doesn't exist in real life? Is a computerized image going to email you a kiss? It's going to bring new meaning to the phrase "slip me the tongue."

This isn't going to stop people from searching for their better half, even if they are only looking for that other half to have as a lackey or a hanger-on or a best friend. A companion now (not before) doesn't always belong in the category of relationship. And that, my friends, like I said after I found out my brother got a DUI for stupidly driving at night without his headlights, is fucked up. And this isn't like an essay of sorts, though I could not exactly show you how I search for love. I tried to go out to the store or to get a haircut but I pass by empty houses and people on the streets are parents leading their children to the park or walking on about their business. In other words, apart from the fact that your other half may discard you as a potential partner, your search for that partner is now restricted because so many people are in the internet, they forget that there are people they could date outside of it.

So, since I don't fit the category of really really really cute, I guess my search is limited to heavy complaining and large amounts of coffee during the weekends. This doesn't mean that I shall stop searching and this whole book, relating to work or relating to mistakes, is only just about searching for love, whether it exists in religion or in anything anymore. Perhaps, I will never find it. I really hope that all of you do. The world is a much better place with it around. With poor people, maybe not. With rich people…well, the same but the tips are better.
