Chapter 1
I walked swiftly through the now darken and deserted street, rubbing my hands together to warm them as I had just finished washing the dishes at my part time job at 'Eat in' the local food place I work earning what few notes I can make. My boots clicked on the stone pavement as I rounded the corner echoing loudly on the empty street which seemed to be void of life at the moment, rain drizzled down upon me. I walked past the lit streetlight as it casted dreary shadows of my person upon the wall stretching them into to grotesque figures which would fit into a horror movie quite well. A single car zoomed passed leaving behind its wails from the engine as it faded out all to quickly. Crossing over I walked further on as the roads got slimmer and the shop's around died out the more further I progressed.
Finally breathing in a sigh as I passed a drunk couple who had a beer in had which was obviously brought from the liquor store I'm walking past. My shoulders lost the slight amount of tension as I saw more figures shop about the store I just passed. Glad to know that their are some inhabitants wandering about.
Heading past another street lamp I was able to see the visible form of the drops of rain that seemed to be sprinkling about when I had left the diner. Pulling up the hood on my black coat. I continued passed, my steps becoming slower as I tried to make as less noise as possible walking past the abandoned warehouse which always had some kind of group hanging around, mostly guys that I'd seen around in my boarding school.
The wind howled startling me as the rain picked up speed. The crates lying against the front near the open gate creaked the gate slammed against the wall causing my heart to race, the looming building looked menacing as its shadows casted the whole left side of the street into darkness. The wind howled louder causing the crates to fall which crashed hard on the floor their echo bouncing around the empty street gave me the edge to run down the desolate street, my heart pounding in my ears as my boots clacked loudly on the stones adding to the eerie echo.
Once I was well enough away from the warehouse, I slowed until I completely stopped leaning against the back wall as I caught my breath and calmed my heart. The wind howled as it swept my long black hair about, sweeping them back in I leaned back throwing all my weight against the wet wall, rain drizzled down my face as I watched a car zoom past splashing water onto the pavement. Wiping my face with the back of my coat sleeve, I headed back down the empty streets towards my dorm room, dreaming of getting into my warm cosy bed at Ridge Academy hoping Cherry my nymphomaniac roommate hasn't got someone over tonight. Doubt it with her being a sex addict.
The rain had gotten harder pelting down causing me to find shelter under the wide stone arch that had stone benches around making a nice scenic look in this historic place, which they took a lot of effort to preserve, though at the moment it looked ominous as a shudder crawled up me. Taking out my Ericsson phone glancing at the time hoping I would reach my dorm soon. I sat on the stone bench watching the rain pelt the ground and bounce about trying to ignore the winds howls as they whipped my hair about.
Glancing back as I heard voices, I shuffled myself towards the pillar obscuring myself from view. Don't know what kind of people would be out at night in this heavy rain but I'm sure their not sane, that and if they are from Ridges too then I would gladly and eagerly avoid them. As I've been noticing quite a number of student's aren't what they appear to be, though I don't know what their suppose to be but whatever they are I can tell their not exact.
Their voices drifted farther away as they headed out the opposite way from where I was currently occupied. Male, that's all I could tell so far as I brought my attention back to the rain which didn't seem to be letting up. A slam echoed out a few streets away causing me to eep in fright. My mind began conjuring scenarios of what was going on as a few more clangs reached my ears, my eyes darting left and right stopping on the looming shadow of the tree that creaked its frail thin branches which seemed to be on the verge of snapping. I watched it's menacing shadows form on the ground which looked like claws out to reach, just like a dream I had a few days back of hands grabbing me all over trying to pull me down with no one to help as I dug my fingers into the moist earth my fingertips bleeding I gripped the ground and fought my way out but every time I made progress the clawed hands would dig into my legs harder scratching the skin till trails of blood leaked down and would pull me back, whilst I fought.
Snapping out as shudders wrecked my body from the cold and eerie-ness I wrapped my arms around me tighter as I felt my heart thud anxiously which it has been doing since I entered the academy last year. Breathing a few deep breaths as I calmed the erratic beats. I sighed in relief ad I watched the rain slow gradually.
As the drops fell a steady pace, I walked out my shelter knowing this is the slowest they'll be and would pick up soon as they have been doing all afternoon. I walked down the quite cobblestone street my boots clacking giving me a sense of calm and lonesome at the same time, my heart palpitating anxiously the nearer I got towards the corner I was about to turn. Halting before rounding the street corner, I listened carefully as my heart pulsed restlessly to what lay ahead, hearing nothing I began working on calming my breathing hoping it would fix my erratic pulse.
The palpitations thudded with vigour, as my breathing didn't help and I could feel my blood pound in my ears giving me a detached sense of hearing. I took a shaky step forward, slowly I inched myself forward quietly till I was able to lean over and look round. I wasn't going to just walk out to something when my heart raced and my body quivered, I know something's wrong as I've had these feelings before but usually by then I was able to lock myself up in my dorm room that and my roommate wasn't around last year but this one doesn't leave, ever.
Looking around thoroughly I saw no one there so I cautiously stepped forward avoiding the puddles around, I'd made it to the end of the street as with my palpitations still going anxiously, I wiped my face clean of the rain water that was sitting upon my lashes making them heavier as I squinted to see, the rain having picked back up again.
Heading round the next street I felt my pulse go higher as it drummed in my ears, my legs shook in anticipation I stood there rooted to the ground, not knowing what to do, go back and hide or move forward only a few streets till we reach our sanctuary. Turning back around I headed back the way I had just come, mind made up my legs felt like lead as I dragged them back my heart heavy as my throat felt dry, my being felt like it was losing something. The further back I went the more my senses seemed to return. I passed the trash bags which someone had placed on the side of the pavement mostly cause their bins where full I presume. I watched the black bags sway but not tip over from all the heavy wind that's been roaming around. Heading down further as another of rubbish bags piled up upon each other on the street, I walked passed cautiously as the rain pelted of it making the drizzle louder from where it slid down.
A huge gust below pasted making the bags topple down in front of me causing me to jump up in fright as they rolled down, this had me running back the way I came, my boots slapping the stone pavements loudly as I rushed passed quickly coming to a halt as my legs shook and my pulse sped up again. Looking back at the darken streets I walked forward towards what anxiously and tensely awaited.
Nothing to be afraid off, theirs nothing there just an empty street that's all, I repeated in my head as I walked on alert eye's jumping at any little sound ignoring the rain that had turned calmer. My steps echoed quietly until I halted in the mouth of an allyway I peered in having heard something. My heart leeping as it thudded hard against my ribcage, I watched the figure crouched on the floor sitting there in the rain clothes soaked from what I could see as most of the person's body was coated In darkness with a vague outline formed. Taking a look around the empty street I peered back in with a slow deliberate step trying to make as little noise as possible I walked a few paces in till I was able to identify that the figure was male.
My body buzzed tersely as I took another step forward this time not disguising its sound, I waited to see if he heard. No reaction, with a other two heavy steps I walked more in, still no response. Breathing a sigh, as I worked up the courage.
" E-ex excuse me, ar-are you-u alright." I asked concernedly, as my voice shook from the anticipation and cold. I watched keenly as I still saw no reaction not even a twitch or a face my way.
With concerned steps I walked forward cautiously till I was a few paces away as I stood in front. I watched his chest rise and fall heavily, which caused me to give a sigh of relief glad he's alive.
"I-it's cold and wet, you should head home" I said glad my voice come out steadily as my pulse roared eagerly inside my blood whizzed around as I felt it boil.
I stood there waiting to be acknowledged as he breathed heavily, I couldn't make out his features in the dark. walking closer till I reached his side I stood there waiting for him to react to my presence on his right side. Placing a hand on the wall beside me I watched my senses as the sound around me began to die out till all I could hear and was aware was the sound of my pulse as it echoed pushing to burst thruough my chest. I barely felt the rain on my skin as it drizzled down somewhere around the back of my mind the howling wind died down till it was a whisper around my ears my skin didn't feel as chilled as it should, nor did it worry me. I tried to organise my thoughts of what was happening and what I'm doing here.
Thunder clapped over head as I faintly heard it, which helped me organise my senses and calm my thoughts as it snapped me out of whatever trance I was in. Looking down I saw the guy still there having not moved.
Crouching down on my heels til I was level with him I leaned in to have a look at his face which was tilted downwards and cast in shadows making it hard to place his features. "Hey, are you hurt" I asked softly leaning in as I watched the rain water drip from his soaked hair dripping down his face. He must be hurt from the way his breathing heavily same as me and how his arms wrapped round his ribs, I'm sure his injured.
"Hey" I said reaching out to touch his arm.
His head lifted up as his eye's locked onto mine his left hand had moved so fast that as soon as I touched his arm he grabbed my wrist. I felt my pulse beat apprehensively, as he tightened his grip on my wrist making me wince in pain. He pulled me in towards him as my knees rested upon his right leg that was stretched out, pulling my wrist further out till I was inches from his face as was my upper torso.
"W-w-w-what d-do you-u want" I stuttered out nervously my mind having jumbled up my motor and speech fuctions as I watched him watch me intently. Tugging my wrist I felt his grip tighten as his right hand picked up the tips of my hair and brush them back from my neck his finger and thumb trailing up till he reached my ear and halted.
I watched in frozen fear as his fingers left a burning trail where he had trailed up. His mouth inches from mine with a tilt from either we would be touching. " You" he whispered as his cold wet lips grazed mine which where also covered in rain water. I felt my stomach flutter and my pulse pulsating. His eyes gazing in mine as his hand slid to the back of my head, I could get lost in his bright dark eyes though I couldn't tell what colour they were until a tug snapped me out.
His right hand clutched the back of my raven hair painfully in his hand, he tugged downwards till I was looking up at him his face still in the same position as my lips pressed upon his chin where I felt his stubble. His dark eyes watched me steadily, seriously; as I felt anxiety creep into me my legs cramping as the blood tingled from the position they wherein. I tugged forcefully on my captured wrists as I moved my head back. This caused him to tug harder on my hair enlightening a hiss to escape from my clenched lips.
His chin lowered grazing my neck as the rest off his head eased down pressing upon my exposed neck, stubble pricking, lips leaving a burning trail as my blood eagerly pumped around. He's head now rested on top of my bosom face pressed against my collar-bone, heart thudding painfully. I tugged on my right arm for release from his iron clad grip, my left hand clamped upon his silky soft hair trying fruitlessly to remove him from me.
"Le-leave me alone" fear evident in my tone. Stupid stupid stupid, walking into a dark alleyway alone at night. Obviously, something bad would happen. Bet they'll find my rotting corpse a week later...Don't wanna die, don't wanna die, don't wanna die. Many scenarios whirled in my head. Panic seized me as I felt his mouth open.
His teeth grazed the skin of my delicately strained neck causing me to whimper in response. "Please" I pleaded desperately, eyes watering down my face mixing in with the rain that had slowed. His teeth bit down lightly on my skin, which in repose made me struggle harder for release. It seemed like he was searching for a prime spot as he would lightly suck on the spot testing it of sorts then moving on. Bringing my knee up I pushed hoping to make some distance, hoping it would help loosen his grips. His mouth stayed firm on my neck.
All of a sudden he stopped, froze, not moving. My heart seemed to scream in my ears, he's halt gave me the room to catch the much needed breath I needed, having not realised that I was gasping for breath when I struggled for freedom. My body shook in fear, the wind howled slamming droplets of rain on my exposed skin. With a deep breath I put all my strength into the pull I was preparing for.
My eyes watched wearily as his figure just held my captivated form. With as much might as possible I thruough all my strength into the pull as I knee'd him in his injured stomach. I felt his grip slacken on my hair and wrist as I pulled hard freeing myself landing my jean clad bottom on the wet ground. I shuffled back as fast as I could on my shaky legs, grazing my palms on the rough wet cemented floor. Spinning around I climbed to my feet as my legs quivered heavily from the weight and ran towards the mouth of the allyway not looking back.
Reality came crashing down as my face smashed hard against the asphalt, black spots invading my vision. Clawing the ground I tried to crawl forward as he tugged on my right foot which he'd gripped as I ran. My scream grizzled out with the rain as I struggled. Having turned me around in our scuffle till I now lay on my back him straddling me, I screamed for help as my fists pounded upon him and my legs kicked about looking for a route to escape.
His hand clamped on my mouth silencing my screams which echoed around. "Quiet" He said his tone firm and commanding halting my attacks as I looked up at his face which was still shrouded in shadows. His eyes bore into me pulling me into a semi trace whilst his head moved lower towards me.
I watched his hand brush my soaked hair away from my face which snapped me out enough to attack him with my fist. His strong arms moved reflexively as he grabbed my arms and pinned them above my head. Whimper's escaped my lips a his head was inches from me. Tears streaked down mixing with the rain water whilst his nose touched mine. My hands stung from the peeled skin.
I saw his eyes flash as his face pressed into my neck. His teeth digging deeper then before made me jerk my neck. " Please, please let me go." I whimpered as he raised his head towards me his long dark tussels brushing my face.
"Lemme go" I pleaded. He placed his right hand on my chin once he made sure my wrist were securely in his left. "Please" his thumb brushing my lips.
"I will" He replied, his thumb halting his ministrations and placing a chaste kiss before he went back to the crook of my neck.
My body arched towards him as I felt his incisors pierce my skin and enter the muscle tissues. My being began to calm from all the anxious anticipation I had gathered as I felt some part of me draw into him. I could feel my energy leaving as he pulled it in. The pounding of my heart wasn't so fast, my hands had stopped struggling and tugging themselves out of his grasp; my vision was cloudy as the black spots had stopped somewhat. My head felt heavy as it went of into a daze, almost as if it was detaching it self from what was happening. Yet at the same time I felt relaxed.
His head pulled back slightly as I felt his incisors slide out my skin like a needle, his free hand rubbing on the tender skin which seemed to be leaking droplets of blood. I lay there flat not bothering to struggling or wanting to. My eyelids drooped down as I struggled to keep them open. His head lifted up til we were face to face and watched me as my consciousness faded in and out.
"How are you still awake?" He asked his tone less choked then it was before. My eye's dropped shut. His free hand reached and wiped my tears away along with the rain water. My eye's barely opened as he released my wrists and sat up straight. The last thing I was conscious of was him moving off of me before everything faded out.
My eyelids felt stiff as my consciousness began to return. I could feel the light rainfall fall upon my exposed skin. My body felt heavy and tired from the soaked clothes. My neck pricked as my head pounded from the killer headache. My stinging palms began to register in my mind as I moved my fingers. My ears seemed to be buzzing drowning out the sound around. My eye's had yet to open as I felt more alert I realised my pulse had returned to normal along side my breathing.
I'm not sure how long I was out for but as the rains still pouring I'm guessing not the long, my heavy garments that stuck to me gave me enough incentive to know that he hadn't tried anything other then long for my neck and take what was needed. I concentrated on my ears which seemed to have cleared up.
Listening around for any signs. My head was hazy as I still felt somewhat detached. My heart leaped as voices flooded into me.
"The wound on your stomach is bad, we should head back and get it looked at."
"There are plenty of fresh marks at Ridges, you know, instead of you taking random"
"Wood!"
"I'm just saying, is all."
"Wood, check for I.D"
I heard footsteps approach me, my breathing hitched as someone rifled thruough my pockets. "Here" He said as another set of footsteps approached.
"Inside pockets" the other said. As I felt someone straddle me like before and unbuttoned my coat. Panic gripped me once more as I moved under him. "She's awake." He said holding my hand lightly as he undid the last buttons.
"She seems to be somewhat conscious, maybe your weakened state didn't have enough to put her out."
My opened eye's were barely able to make out the blurry figures. Though even if they could I still would be able to recognize them as they were shrouded in darkness. My attempts at struggling were quite weak as all I did was wiggle under the one who was searching me.
"W-w-w-wha-tt do y-you w-want fr-om me" I whimpered out.
"Easy there, we ain't gonna hurt you." He said holding both my hands. "Relax, and take a deep breath" He continued "Would also help if you stopped grinding under me." Causing me to choke out sobs.
"Wood, hush it"
"I'm just saying, is all."
''I.D'd her yet Wy?"
I watched the silhouette standing above me scan my student card. "Izzah Basim, also from Ridges" I sucked in a breath as he read my name, which caused his gaze upon me. The one on top leaned into me as his hand went towards my neck having released my hands freeing them as I grabbed his arms stopping him from trying the same thing as the other one did before.
"Don't worry, calm down it feels like your hearts gonna explode, deep breaths" he said as I took in gulps of air and my blood pumped hard. His hand was placed at the back of my neck tenderly sweeping his fingers along the spine of it. I tugged his arm back with what strength i had, my hands stung as I dug my fingers into his his skin. "Go to sleep now, everything will be fine when you wake." He said as I felt a pinch on the spine of my neck. My fingers loosened having lost their strenght as did my eye's as they fluttered shut. My mind was fading out as well as I tried desperately to stay conscious. I could hear them talking in the background but all it was -was noise.
The last thing I remembered before I slipped out of consciousness was being lifted into someones arms as I felt my body come in contact with their chest.

This story is not in any way or form connected to Unseen entity.
Hope you liked.
It's a bit more darker then my usual work. Won't see as much spelling mistakes either as I double checked. But incase I did mis some, I apologise.
