The trees have a story

The rivers have a song

They tell you of the glory

Of times that are a-gone

Trees have a story

Rivers have a song

Who listens to the rivers?

The trees are all cut down.

The only reason I put supernatural in the categories is because the idea of a person who speaks to trees and rivers is supernatural, sort of, and it's written from the perspective of someone who is able to do this.
