If I were to conjure up a scenario

A clear cut image of us two

You'd hold me tightly to your chest

If I could shut my eyes and imagine

Free myself from time in which ive been caged in

Our fingers would intertwine

If my deepest wish was granted

The stars aligned and we were fated

Id wake in your arms each sunrise

I sometimes wonder if you're a punishment

A plague on me some godly torment

What other explanation can there be?

For once I'd like to see clearly

Take a breath, fill my lungs deeply

Without your shadow on my wall

A fool I am in a wise mans cloth

You are the light and I'm the moth

Attracted to my ending to my demise

And each night you take me by suprise

Id like to conjure up a scenario

A clear cut image of just us two

And let the story takes its course

With no remorse, release you
