Chapter One: The Opportunity.
A basketball game had just been won by Winston High and Felix Laird was the guy that had to report it. Felix was in the twelfth grade and did most of the work on the school newspaper, which included reporting on the sports events. He had made it back to the club room before realizing that he had forgotten some notes back in the gymnasium. He sighed and ran his thin fingers through his thick, messy, black hair as he dreaded walking back there when the team would still be changing and showering. Well, at least he could upload and sort through the pictures before going to get the notes.
Felix sat down at the computer desk and plugged the camera into his laptop. As he waited for the pictures to upload he leaned back in the chair and looked up at the ceiling. He thought it was terribly boring to report on sports but it was his duty and he knew he had to deal with it.
The laptop made a dinging noise when the pictures finished uploading and Felix sat up straight and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He went through the hundreds of pictures that he had shot and narrowed it down to just about sixty good shots. Only about three of them would be used but having sixty good ones was better than having hundreds of bad ones.
Felix ran his fingers through his hair again and adjusted his glasses as he stood up and stretched his tall, lanky body. He hoped that by now the change rooms would be empty and that he could enter the gymnasium without any problems.
He made his way down the halls of the old school and opened the door of the change room. He stopped for a moment when he heard some strange noises coming from the other side of the lockers next to him. He wasn't the most informed when it came to intimate subjects but it definitely sounded like there were a couple people over there doing something that they shouldn't be doing.
Felix licked his dry lips as he took a step forward, trying his best to keep his shoes from squeaking. As he made his way to the edge of the lockers he peeked around the corner. He was beyond shocked at what he was seeing and wasn't even sure what to do. It was a moment before he finally took his eyes away and leaned against the lockers. He had no idea what to do at the moment but was too shocked to move. He stood there silently, going over what he had just seen.
What shocked Felix the most was that it was between two guys. To be more precise…Wesley Walker and David Young, the star players of the basketball and track teams. The guys who picked on others for being gay. The guys who were dating the two most popular girls in the school.
Felix stood there for another moment before realizing that he had an opportunity to blackmail these guys now. He could stop them from being jerks and get them to do whatever he wanted. But…how could he get proof to use as blackmail? He couldn't just tell people about it because no one would believe him, especially not over Wesley's and David's word.
With his hands at his sides Felix felt the bump in his pocket that was his cell phone. He had no friends so the only reason he had such a thing was so that his mother and sister could get a hold of him at all times if they needed to. But…it did have a camera on it. Felix kept his hand on his phone as he hesitated, the sounds of moaning clouding his thought process. But then before he knew it he had the cell phone in his hands and was about to take the picture. The snapshot beep sounded off and Felix almost died right then and there. But that wouldn't be the death of him, oh no, the two jocks would be the death of him when they got their hands on him.
"What was that?" David asked in a husky voice, almost breathless. "Did you hear that? It sounded like a camera or something…go check." He said as Wesley pulled away and stood up.
"A camera? You fucking serious?" Wesley asked as he wiped his lips with the back of his hand.
Felix could hear his footsteps getting closer and his adrenaline started pumping. And then he felt his feet hit the ground hard as he ran towards the exit. He had to get away or else there was going to be hell to pay. He was in so much trouble and he instantly regretted taking that picture. He was up against the school's best jocks. He had no chance.
"Get back here you little freak!" Wesley shouted out as he started to run after the culprit. "You can run but I'll fucking find you and kill you!"
Felix felt his heart banging against his chest as he ran down the halls to the club room where he could lock the door and hide for a while. He didn't think he'd be able to outrun someone who was on the track team but his legs continued moving like his life was on the line…which it kind of was.
Felix could hear Wesley catching up to him, almost within reach it seemed. But then he took a quick turn, another, and then he rushed into the club room and locked the door. Wesley started banging on the door like mad. "Open the fucking door, freak!" He yelled as he continued to bang on the door.
"As if I'm stupid enough to do such a thing!" Felix called back to him between heavy breaths. He was definitely out of shape if that much running was this hard on him.
"Even if you don't I'll wait here all goddamn night until you need to come out!" Wesley countered.
Felix grumbled as he sat down. He knew that Wesley would wait for him. But…what could he do now? He was trapped like a fly in a web. He thought for a moment and then looked down at his phone and then over towards the laptop. "You know! I could easily upload that picture to the internet in this room and you wouldn't be able to do a thing about it!" Felix retorted loudly so that it could be heard over the banging.
"You wouldn't!" Wesley was silent for a moment before speaking again. "Fine! What do I have to do for you to keep your mouth shut?" He stopped banging on the door and stood there waiting for an answer.
"What would you have to do? Uhh…" Felix felt a sudden surge of power. Did he have control over Wesley with this picture? "Well! For starters you can stop being an ass to me. I'm two years older than you, show some respect." He could hear Wesley grumbling on the other side of the door. He obviously wasn't very impressed with the first thing asked of him. "And…uh…well…you can…" Felix was having trouble thinking of what else he could have Wesley do but after a moment he came to a conclusion. "You can be my slave." He said with a huge grin plastered on his face. Yes, that would do quite nicely.
"A slave?! Are you fucking insane!? Like hell I will!" Wesley started to panic.
"Oh, on the contrary, you don't have much of a choice now do you, Wesley Walker?" Felix stated, not able to get the grin off his face.
Wesley was quiet on the other side of the door for a bit and Felix wasn't sure what to expect from him next. "Can you at least promise not to get David involved in this shit if I be your slave?" He asked as calmly as he could through his fuming rage.
"I guess that I can agree to that if you don't try any funny business." Felix said.
"Yeah, yeah. I won't. I'll be your fucking slave until you graduate in spring and you can't say a fucking word to anyone about this and you can't bother David."
"Alright, sounds good to me." Felix said, feeling proud and victorious. He was going to have too much fun with Wesley in his hand like a clump of clay waiting to be molded.
(Author's Note: Okay, I got a random review all of a sudden and looked over the story. I edited a couple things in this chapter and will try to get back into writing more. So, look forward to it I suppose.)
