Chapter 1
"No! Don't struggle!" the man ordered.
"Please, let me go!" I cried.
"No! And stop struggling!" The man ordered again. I didn't want to get hurt, so I gave up.
Sorry, let me back up.
So I was sitting at home, watching T.V. So my dog starts barking her head off.
"Abby! Stop barking!" I ordered. Oh, yes, My name is Sea. I am a 9 year old girl. I love to read and write. My favorite books are the mysteries. But today is when I am in a mystery.
Abby kept barking. "Abby." I get up and walk over to the door. "No." I say shaking my finger in Abby's face.
Knock. Knock. I freeze up. Who's that?
"Anyone home?" A rough voice asks. Silently I back away from the door. I go to find somewhere to hide, on my way I grab a phone. I hear the door squeak open. As I go hide under my bed I dial 911.
"911 what is your emergency?" A voice on the other end asks.
"There is a man in my house." I say in just over a whisper.
"Please, stay cool. Where do you live?" The voice questions.
"981 Red drive." I whisper. I hear footsteps coming closer. "He's in my room." I whisper.
"Okay, stay calm. I'm sending the police right now." The voice informs. I set down the phone, but leave it on. The pair of feet stop in front of my bed. Slowly the man ducks down to my level.
"Hello, girly." He says.
"What do you want?" I ask in a shaky voice.
"You. I knew you were home alone today. I want your dad to feel the pain. My daughter got killed cause of him. Now he will pay." The man said. "Now come out from under there. We need to go."
"No!" I scream. He reaches under my bed and starts to pull me out.
"Stop!" I yell as he drags me out. "Stop!" I cry.
