A hero. A criminal. Crazy. Brave.
People have called me many things over the years, but only one has stuck.
Robin Hood.
I steal from the rich and give to the poor, like Robin Hood in so many stories. I also help the police stop criminals and I take in abandoned children and find them good homes.
Why you may ask?
Because it's the right thing to do in my opinion. How can someone with more than enough money to spare sit around in their big luxurious houses, while others are starving on the street? I stop the criminals because well, they're criminals. Maybe it's hypocritical of me, since technically I am a criminal, but only to the rich. I take in abandoned children because I myself know the pain of being left behind by those you loved.
That's right. When I was eight years old, my parents dropped me off in the forest like trash. They never looked back, never came looking for me. They just left me all alone. I was a smart child though; my father spent years teaching me survival skills. After searching, I found an abandoned underground bomb shelter.
Over the next seven years, I worked on making it more like a home. Now it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with appliances, a living room, a weapons room, a training room, and a recreation room. I used some of the money I've stolen to finance the remodel. It even has electricity, plumbing, and running water. I steal it from these rich folk who never check their bills, just pay them. It seems impossible, but you'd be surprised what someone can accomplish when they have no other option.
This is more of a home to me than the home I spent the first eight years of my life in, and
I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love what I do.
