Soft and slow-

On and on

And on they go…

An exploration

A new affair

Lips saying more

Than words would dare.

Each touch electric,

Taut like a bow

Wrapped up in

A reverent glow.

Hunger rises

Sweet on our tongues-

Breath quick and striving

To fill desperate lungs.

But would giving in

Cross a line?

Is the question in

This mind of mine.

Fraught with unknowns,

This new romance-

Excitement and fear

Engaged in a dance.

But quickly addicting,

Each touch, smell and taste-

And reluctant am i

To let one minute waste.

Too soon it ends,

The hour growing late

And already I begin

To anticipate…
