To You; Just 'Coz You Assume

You do realise don't you, that you don't have to torture yourself into this friendship. You can let it die its natural, inevitable death; and you'll face no consequences.

If it's the Nazis you need to research, the framework is just eight digits away.

Need a treatise on Shakespeare's comedies with special reference to Milton's Paradise Lost? Eight digits and six minutes and it's done.

Missed work? Lost notes? Genetics proving too tough? Eight digits and it's all good.

Work caught up with, notes procured, genetics simplified.

I'll do it for you; one hundred times over and then some. The existence-or lack thereof- of our friendship having no impact on matters.

I'd do it for you, because you've done so much for me. You've been my muse, you still are. I think, as of now, we share a sort of friendship.

I passed math- with abysmal marks, mind- last year only thanks to you. I'd have failed otherwise. Chem is going the way it's going because you were willing to help.

Doubts in Physics, and I know you're just eight digits away.

I need maps scanned? A hurried, harassed text to you, and I know I'll be able to complete the homework.

Studying Shakespeare alone is getting on my nerves? Eight digits and six hours and the course will be done with magnificent results I couldn't have achieved on my own.

I'd do it for you because it's you, and no matter what, I can't really say, 'No'. Not to you, not when I know that you won't hurt me on purpose. Not when you will try your hardest not to hurt me.

So that's why I'm telling you- don't pretend; don't call 'coz you feel like you need to. Don't act- although you're really good at it; don't say the sweetest things you evidently don't mean.

We needn't be friends. It would be easier on my nerves. It'll save you a lot of time. But anytime you need me- eight digits and I'll exist.

Author's Note: To whom this concerns- the doormat conversation? Yeah, this is what it meant. You help me more than anyone else I know, okay? And I'm grateful beyond belief. You have to know that. I'm really sorry for the bitterness, but I had to pen it down. The History and English projects? Truly, that was the most fun I've had in ages.

Review please, I'll return reviews as long as your work isn't M Rated!
