Chapter 4
It's true.
Autumn
Another text message flashed on my screen.
"Remember to sit by each other during first period. -Evan"
I texted back.
"Goodness gracious, I get it. Stay glued to Peter's side for as long as possible, no need to keep sending me texts. -Autumn"
"It's fun to bother you." he replied back.
I turned off my phone and put it in my backpack. Like heck I'm going to give him the satisfaction of bothering me even more.
Peter
"Which seat is yours?" I ask Autumn.
She pointed to a seat in the front row, right in front of the teacher's desk. Heck no. There is no chance that I'm going to be sitting in the front.
I glanced over at my usual seat in the very back corner. It was empty, but the one next to it was occupied by a nerdy-looking kid with glasses and a lot of acne. Shouldn't nerds be sitting in the front? Why are they in the back? I was about to come over and tell him to "get lost" but Autumn kicked my leg.
"What are you doing?" Autumn asks.
"Shouldn't I be saying that to you? You're the one that kicked me!"
"Were you about to tell that kid to move?" she nodded her head towards the nerdy kid.
"So, what if I was?"
She kicked me again.
She pulled on my backpack and threw me in the chair next to her usual seat.
I glared at her, but she didn't seem to notice.
I tried to get up and move, but all the seats were already filled up. Next thing I know, class was starting and I was stuck in the front row.
Autumn
"See? That wasn't bad." I tell Peter.
"Bad? It was terrible! I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't text. The only thing I could do was stare at the clock, waiting for it to be over!" he exaggerated.
"Well, you know, you could've actually paid attention to the class." I suggested.
He gave me a look that said 'Do-you-know-who-you're-talking-to?' I just rolled my eyes.
"Hey Peter" a girl (Melanie something) purred.
"Hey Melanie" Peter said while checking her out.
I shake my head, it hasn't even been a day yet.
I 'accidentally' dropped one of my books on his foot.
"Ow! Autumn! What was that. oh. Melanie, I'll have to talk to you later." Peter said.
Melanie gave me a dirty look, then wandered off to find another male target.
"Was it really necessary to drop a book on my foot? I'm a soccer player!"
"Eh, it'll heal."
Evan
Respond. Respond. Respond. Why isn't she responding? Man, I bet she turned her phone off. I need someone new to bother.
Autumn
Surprisingly, my classes were going by quickly. Even health.
Autumn's life lesson of the day: When you DON'T want to talk to someone, pretend you're texting on your phone, people won't bother you. (this works when your phone is off too)
Anyways, next thing I know, it was lunch time. I quickly grabbed a book out of my backpack and headed off to lunch.
By the time I sat down and opened my book, something red hit my head, and an apple laid on the floor next to my chair.
I glance around suspiciously, Evan stared straight at me. I gave him a what-the-heck? look.
He gets up and comes towards me.
"You're suppose to sit next to your boyfriend."
"Why couldn't you just come to me? Why'd you throw an apple at my head?"
"Payback for not responding to my texts" he gives me a sly grin and walks back to his chair.
I guess I won't be able to do any reading today.
I sighed and stood next to Peter's chair.
I turn to one of the girls sitting next to him "Excuse me, can you move to a different chair?" I ask politely.
She gave me an icy cold look "Why should I?"
I leaned down to whisper in her ear "Because I know some things. Like what really happened to the west wing of your house, or that you're the one that stole your own grandma's necklace, or even how your newly bought car turned into a pile of trash. Don't take me lightly." I threatened.
"What the? How'd you like, know about all those things? Oh my gosh! It was Kristen wasn't it? I swear, like, the next time I see her, she wished she hadn't said anything about me!" then the girl ran off to find "Kristen". Trust me, I didn't know her. But she's usually at the end of the table, and just because I'm reading a book, doesn't mean I'm not capable of eavesdropping too.
I made myself comfortable in her chair.
Evan's mouth hung open. He mouthed "How'd you get her to move?"
I shrugged. I didn't feel like explaining.
Lauren
You know how in a movie there's always that one girl that walks in dramatically? If this was a movie, then that girl would be Bianca White.
Bianca is the 'Queen Bee', the one who girls are jealous of and guys want to date. Basically, the girl version of Peter Wilson.
She has soft, natural blonde hair, flawless skin, and curves to die for. Too bad she was a backstabbing, fake, coldhearted witch.
Evan
The cafeteria doors opened and Bianca White (and 2 of her 'friends' but no one really cared about them) walked in acting like they owned the place.
Bianca White was gorgeous, too bad she'll never give me a second look. Bianca only had eyes for Peter.
Oh shoot.
Things were about to get interesting really quickly.
Autumn
"Peter" a voice cooed.
I cringed. Bianca White.
I hated that girl. If I could push one person in the whole world off a cliff, it would be her. Trust me, I have my reasons.
"Hey Bianca." Peter greeted.
Bianca turned to look at me, "excuse me, you're in my seat."
The whole cafeteria was silent.
"Is every seat next to Peter "your seat" now? Or is this actually you're chair? If it is, Peter and I won't mind leaving to another table." I wrapped my hand around Peter's arm at the statement.
"Get your dirty hands off of him." she commanded.
"Why should I? He is my boyfriend."
Bianca looked stunned, the whole cafeteria murmured their disbelief, Evan smirked.
"Peety Bear, tell them it's not true." she whined.
He grimaced. "It's true"
A/N: Guys, sorry this is so short, I'll try my best to update longer chapters?
