39. Trust is everything
As the women walked through the gates of Kids Town, they spotted two men; one was holding the other from behind. Katy smiled at the one behind:
"Where was he?" She asked stopping in front the men; it was Andy and Billy, Jenny's eyes went wide and traveled to her best friend with the question clearly written in her eyes, 'What the hell is going on here?'
"On the beach, I told him the truth and shocker, he didn't believe me so I just grabbed him and dragged him here, he got strong through; he almost punshed my lights out." He chuckled; Katy smiled and walked Jenny to them.
"Hold onto her ok? I'm going talk to Billy here." She said handing Jenny's hands to Andy and put one arm around Billy's shoulders.
They walked through the grass, not speaking for moments before Katy finally broke the silence:
"You know that she loves you but yet, you don't trust her, Billy, do you have any idea how stupid you're being? Jennifer loves you so much and you don't trust her? Come on Billy, you really believe that your girlfriend would sleep with your brother!? That's just crap; you are throwing a great relationship away just because you heard a sick lie. I thought you were better then that." She scolded him as she turned and looked out on the ocean.
"Trust is everything in a relationship, Billy, you must know that, Jenny loves you and you need to trust her or you will lose the one thing you've waited your life to love." Katy explained slowly, looking in Billy's mud brown eyes, her arms crossed on her chest. Billy sighed and walked to the woman,
"Maybe you're right. I AM being stupid and a jerk. But I…it's just that I'm afraid that I'm gonna lose her and I am because my own stupid fears. God I'm the dumbest guy, I need to talk to her." He leaned his head into his hands to rub away the tears and walked back to where Andy and Jenny sat.
"Andy, can you leave us alone for couple minutes, please?" He asked his eyes on the strawberry blond beauty who was sitting on the sandy beach next to his blue-eyed brother, Andy nodded and walked towards where Billy left Katy.
