PROLOGUE

"No, no, no." She shakes her head. She doesn't want to believe it; can't believe it. "This isn't possible."

"But it is possible."

No, no, no, she repeats in her mind. If she lets herself believe that what she has seen is not an illusion, her entire life will become a lie, but logically, she realizes that it all makes sense now. The secrets, the lies, the avoiding conversations about her grandmother in her household or outside of her household... it no longer confuses her.

Her whole world has officially flipped upside down. "No," she says again and then she faints.


author's note: HEY PEOPLE. This is a new story off the top of my head. I have most of it planned out. I have yet to start chapter one, but I want to see the reaction to the prologue before I post anything else. I left it vague purposely. I don't anyone to guess what it is about, for the most part.
