Ode to my friends

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who is the fairest of us all?
The one that bitches to heart's content
Or the one so silent, so distant, so cold
Or she who always speaks her mind
Despite of whom it may hurt
And maybe I miss the times of old
When girls would play with honesty, and sentiment
And to lie was considered a horrible sin
But it would be a lie if I said
That I never would do that, say that, be that
Because that is the game of girls, of friends
To backstab, double cross, hate, and hurt
And I am not hateful to my dear friends
They are the world to me
And when I am sad, they comfort me
And when I am down, they cheer me up
Because that is the game of girls, of friends
And we are all fairest
In our unfairness
And we love each other to death
