Now that I'm older
Can I still smoulder?
throw that look over my shoulder
or will the recipient grow colder

Is it still cool?
to look and drool
or breaking an unwritten rule
set down by old school

I don't like cooking, knitting or sewing
My future path I'm not knowing
The seeds of the future already sown

Can I be bold?
Who's going to scold?
